When a star of Ram Charan’s stature takes time out from his own shoot to personally welcome a film’s team and wish them success, you know something special is arriving for Telugu audiences. That’s exactly what happened ahead of the Telugu release of Vaazha 2 — a film that already proved to be a massive blockbuster in Malayalam and is now crossing over to a wider audience.

Ram Charan’s Warm Welcome

Straight from the sets of his upcoming sports drama Peddi, Ram Charan posed for photos with the Vaazha 2 team and shared them on social media with a heartfelt message for the crew. He praised director Savin SA and the young cast, and specifically highlighted producers Sahu Garapati and Archana for bringing the film to Telugu audiences.

It’s a classy gesture from one of Telugu cinema’s biggest stars — and exactly the kind of endorsement that can make a real difference for a crossover release.

What Is Vaazha 2 About?

Vaazha 2 follows four young friends — Hashir, Alan, Ajin, and Vinayak — who have been branded troublemakers by both their families and their school. As they transition into adulthood, the weight of social expectations and pressure begins to close in. The film is a coming-of-age story at its heart: about finding your own path, taking responsibility, and defining success on your own terms rather than society’s.

What makes the casting genuinely unique is that all four lead roles are played by real-life YouTube content creators reprising their characters from the first Vaazha film. It’s a rare case of internet personalities anchoring a mainstream theatrical release — and clearly, audiences responded. The Malayalam version was a blockbuster, which is why the Telugu release is now being given a proper push.

Ram Charan, one of Telugu cinema’s most celebrated stars, is known for championing quality cinema across industries — and his endorsement of Vaazha 2 signals this is a film worth watching for Telugu audiences of all ages.

Ram Charan’s Own Next — Peddi

Meanwhile, Ram Charan is in the final stretch of completing his own upcoming film Peddi, a sports action drama directed by Buchi Babu Sana. Co-starring Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu, and Jagapathi Babu, the film has already faced two postponements — initially slated for March 27, then April 30 — and is now confirmed for a June 2026 theatrical release, with only a song remaining to be filmed.
