Three Powertrains, Maximum Flexibility

Tata Motors has positioned the Sierra as a versatile offering with three distinct engine options. The naturally aspirated 1.5-litre Revotron petrol engine anchors the entry-level variants, while the powerful 1.5-litre Kryojet diesel serves buyers seeking robust performance. The range-topping 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol automatic variant caters to enthusiasts wanting both power and convenience.

Transmission choices include a six-speed manual, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA), and six-speed torque converter automatic, ensuring there’s a configuration for every driving preference.

Premium Features at Competitive Prices

The Sierra enters the battleground occupied by stalwarts like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. However, it brings segment-first features including a triple-screen dashboard layout, the largest panoramic sunroof (1525mm x 925mm), and 19-inch alloy wheels that give it a commanding presence.

Higher variants boast ventilated seats, Level 2 ADAS, head-up display, 12-speaker JBL sound system with Dolby Atmos, and gesture-controlled electric boot—features typically reserved for premium segments.

Bookings and Deliveries

Enthusiasts can book the Sierra from December 16, 2025, across all Tata dealerships and online platforms, with deliveries scheduled to commence from January 15, 2026. The pricing for top-spec Accomplished and Accomplished+ variants will be announced shortly.

With its nostalgic design language meeting modern technology, the Sierra represents Tata’s ambitious play in India’s hotly contested compact SUV space.
