Why No Recent Surya Jyothika Movie Together?
Tamil cinema’s most celebrated real-life couple hasn’t shared screen space recently, focusing instead on individual career trajectories. According to India TV’s coverage, their love story began on the sets of “Poovellam Kettuppar” (1999) and blossomed through multiple collaborations before marriage in 2006.
Since then, both strategically chose individual projects that showcase their versatility. Similar to power couples featured in our best South Indian movies guide, they’re proving that successful partnerships don’t require constant on-screen pairing.
