Marvel fans, your fall is mapped out. Two big releases are lined up to close 2026, and a smaller Disney+ project is the last thing to arrive before them.

VisionQuest: The Final Warm-Up

Before VisionQuest and Avengers: Doomsday, the last new Marvel project is Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up!, a Disney Jr. crossover that arrived on Disney+ on September 25. Ongoing series like Spidey and His Amazing Friends continue in October, but this special is the final brand-new project before the MCU’s two headliners.

VisionQuest: Key Dates

Release	Date	Where
Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up!	September 25	Disney+
Avengers: Endgame Encore	September 25	Theaters
VisionQuest (8 episodes)	October 14 (two-episode premiere)	Disney+
VisionQuest finale	November 25	Disney+
Avengers: Doomsday	December 18	Theaters

New VisionQuest episodes arrive every Wednesday after the premiere, leaving roughly a three-week gap before Doomsday.

What VisionQuest Is About?

The series is the closing chapter of the WandaVision trilogy, which began in 2021. It follows White Vision, played by Paul Bettany, after the events of WandaVision, and takes viewers inside Vision’s mindscape, where James Spader’s Ultron returns. Terry Matalas is the showrunner. Tommy Maximoff, the speedster son of Vision and Wanda, also appears.

Why Doomsday Matters?

Doomsday is the fifth Avengers film, and it begins the end of the Multiverse Saga, setting up Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027. It also brings back Loki, who is not his original version. Endgame Encore added a new ending showing him in his TVA uniform offering to help, along with post-credits scenes that connect the older film to what comes next.

How the Two Connect?

The Direct’s analysis points to common threads: reimagined versions of heroes first seen on Disney+, young characters who could become future Young Avengers (Tommy in VisionQuest, Cassie Lang in Doomsday), and a shared love of strong set design. VisionQuest builds a 1960s-style white mansion inside Vision’s mind, while Doomsday‘s TVA scenes keep Loki‘s retro-futuristic look.
