Rs 25 Lakh, One Condition: Inside Sunil Pal’s Rejected India’s Got Latent 2 Deal

The Samay Raina vs Sunil Pal saga just took a spicy new turn. The veteran comedian has now revealed that he was offered a jaw-dropping Rs 25 lakh to appear on India’s Got Latent Season 2 — but there was a catch that made him walk away from the deal.

Sunil Pal, best known as the Great Indian Laughter Challenge winner and a longtime critic of the show’s raunchy humor, spoke to paparazzi in Mumbai and shared exactly how the negotiation went down. According to him, the money was tempting, but his one non-negotiable term — no abusive language on camera — didn’t sit well with the offer’s fine print.

Pal claims he was told that while he personally wouldn’t need to swear, the rest of the cast likely would anyway — a compromise he wasn’t willing to make. When reporters pointed out that big names like Alia Bhatt and Sharvari appeared on the show without using explicit language during their promotional stint for Alpha, Pal didn’t hold back, taking a sharp jab at the actress instead.

This isn’t the first round of this rivalry. The feud between Pal and Raina dates back to 2025, when Pal openly criticized the vulgarity on the show’s first season. Raina fired back during his comedy special Still Alive, calling Pal “insecure and frustrated.” With Season 2 now streaming and pulling massive viewership numbers, it looks like this comedic clash is far from over.
