The internet broke — briefly — when a clip appeared to show adult film star Johnny Sins and content creator Commatozze posing with Samay Raina, fuelling feverish speculation that the duo would appear on India’s Got Latent Season 2. Fans went wild. The clip went viral in hours. And then, reality checked in.

The video is entirely AI-generated. Not real. Not filmed. Not confirmed. Just a very convincing deepfake that the internet chose to believe — because of course it did.

What’s Actually Happening with India’s Got Latent Season 2?

India’s Got Latent made a roaring comeback after a turbulent hiatus — the first season was wiped from YouTube in February 2025 following the Ranveer Allahbadia controversy. Samay Raina officially announced Season 2 in his stand-up special Still Alive in April 2026.

Season 2 premiered on June 20, 2026 at 7 PM IST, simultaneously on Netflix and YouTube — a landmark dual-platform deal that’s a first for any Indian digital indie show. Episode 1, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh as celebrity judges ahead of their film Alpha, crossed 35 million YouTube views in a remarkably short window and hit No. 1 on Netflix India.

Episode 2 is expected to land on July 4, 2026, with Bhuvan Bam being widely tipped as the next big guest following his video-call cameo in the premiere.

Why Did People Believe the Johnny Sins Clip?

Because AI-generated video has become alarmingly convincing — and because India’s Got Latent has a history of genuinely surprising guests. When a realistic-looking clip shows up claiming something outrageous, the combination of it looks real and Samay would actually do this is enough to make thousands hit share before fact-checking.

Neither Johnny Sins nor Commatozze has any association with the show, and no production announcement has been made.
