Full Cast — Returning & New

Colin Farrell as John Sugar

Farrell returns as the titular alien detective, an extraterrestrial who chooses to remain on Earth. As he fully embraces his human emotions, his methods are expected to become less clinical and far more aggressive this season. PRIMETIMER

Jin Ha as the Boxer

Jin Ha (Pachinko, Civil War) plays a local boxer who gets entangled in a complex situation. When his brother goes missing, he seeks Sugar’s help — pulling them both into something far more dangerous than either anticipated. Soapcentral

Raymond Lee as the Missing Brother

Raymond Lee (Top Gun: Maverick, Quantum Leap) plays the boxer’s older brother — the missing man at the heart of Sugar’s new investigation. He appears to be running from something and doesn’t want to be found.

Tony Dalton as Lieutenant Vega

Tony Dalton (Better Call Saul) plays Lieutenant Vega of the LA County Sheriff’s Department — a figure who appears to know far more than he’s letting on, and who seems to stand directly in Sugar’s way.

Laura Donnelly as the Mystery Woman

Laura Donnelly (The Nevers, Say Nothing) plays a woman described as completely immune to Sugar’s charms — a pointed detail for a character whose magnetism has always been one of his greatest tools.

Sasha Calle & Shea Whigham

Sasha Calle (The Flash) joins as a hustler working alongside Sugar, while Shea Whigham appears as a special guest playing a government agency operative. AnimeNextSeason

Why Season 2 Is a Must-Watch

Hailed as “one of the best neo-noir thrillers in years” with “one of the greatest plot twists in recent TV history,” Sugar built an intensely loyal fanbase around its alien reveal — and Season 2 picks up directly from those consequences, not a soft reset. The Hollywood Reporter
