What The Show Is About
The plot kicks off when Stuart accidentally breaks a time-travel and multiverse device built by Sheldon Cooper and Leonard Hofstadter. The damage tears open dimensional rifts and throws the multiverse into chaos, and things get stranger still when an alternate-universe Stuart shows up, insisting the “real” Stuart is the chosen one who must fix it all. Bad luck and self-doubt aside, our reluctant hero has to lead a crew of familiar faces across timelines to patch the multiverse before it collapses for good.
Who’s Returning
Kevin Sussman reprises his role as Stuart, joined by original cast members Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus, and John Ross Bowie. Ryan Cartwright, Josh Brener, Tommy Walker, Wil Wheaton, Christine Baranski, Riki Lindhome, and Jon Cryer are also expected to make appearances, keeping the show firmly tied to the world of the original sitcom on Wikipedia, which ran for 12 seasons and became one of the most-watched comedies in TV history.
