Strongest One Piece Characters in 2024: All You Need to Know

One Piece (which can be watched on Crunchyroll), the iconic manga and anime series created by Eiichiro Oda, is a vast sea filled with powerful characters, each possessing unique abilities and strengths. As the journey of Monkey D. Luffy and his crew unfolds, so does the hierarchy of power in this expansive world. This article will delve into the depths of the strongest One Piece characters.

The Strongest One Piece Characters

Imu

Sovereign of the World Government, Imu possesses immense power, evident in the instant destruction of the Kingdom of Lulusia. He is one of the strongest One Piece characters. As the series progresses, Imu’s true strength is expected to unfold.

Shanks

Chief of the Red Hair Pirates, Shanks, a Yonko without a devil fruit, relies on Haki’s mastery. He is among the strongest One Piece characters. His strength is evident in encounters with formidable characters like Kaido and Akainu.

The Five Elders

Considered the pinnacle of the World Government, the Five Elders showcase combat prowess. Saint Jaygarcia Saturn’s involvement in Egghead Island hints at their combat abilities, reinforced by another Elder wielding a sword.

Blackbeard

Considered the final villain, Blackbeard wields two devil fruits—Yami Yami no Mi and Gura Gura no Mi. He ranks among the strongest One Piece characters. With the power to nullify devil fruit effects and create quakes, he stands among the series’ strongest.

Monkey D. Luffy

Straw Hat Pirates captain Yonko’s victory over Kaido in Wano elevated his fame. Combining devil fruit awakening with Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, he earned a bounty of 3 billion berries.

Monkey D. Dragon

Leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon’s motives are unclear, but his title as the “World’s Worst Criminal” suggests significant strength, potentially on par with a Fleet Admiral/Yonko.

Dracule Mihawk

Once a Shichibukai, Mihawk, titled the “Strongest Swordsman,” wields Yoru, a Saijo O Wazamono-grade weapon. He is one of the strongest One Piece characters. Known as the “Naval Hunter,” he hunted Navy affiliates and rivalled Shanks, showcasing mastery over Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku Haki.

Monkey D. Garp

The “Hero of the Marines,” Garp, though a Vice Admiral, surpasses most Marines. Renowned for cornering Gol D. Roger, he relies on the formidable Haki honed through training that included destroying mountains in his prime.

Akainu

After defeating Aokiji, Akainu became Fleet Admiral, embodying Absolute Justice. Possessing the Magu Magu no Mi, he manipulates magma, displaying relentless pursuit and exceptional combat skills.

Kuzan

Kuzan, formerly a Marine Admiral, left the organization after a prolonged battle with Sakazuki in Punk Hazard. Trained by Garp, he possesses the Hie Hie no Mi, enabling ice manipulation. Despite joining the Blackbeard Pirates, he remains one of the Ten Titanic Captains of the Yonko’s crew.
