SSMB28: Everything You Need to Know about Mahesh Babu’s Upcoming Action Drama film (23rd September)

The famous Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is coming with the film SSMB28. The movie is ready to hit these theatres in 2024. Mahesh Babu has shared his first look at the upcoming film on Instagram and told us that SSMB28 will drop across theatres on January 13, 2024.

In this film, Mahesh Babu can be able to see wearing shades and smoking a cigarette as he is walking down with style into the street. In this film, we will see the actor will give tough combat with Goons who can also be seen bowing down in front of the superstar in fear.  On Sharing the first look, he wrote, “13.01.2024!! #SaveTheDate.” 

This is the third collaboration between Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram Srinivas. They have previously worked together on successful movies like Athadu and Khaleja. The movie also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead.

Of them this is the second time the two actors are sharing a project after the 2019 blockbuster Maharashi. It seems to be a mixture of action and emotion. The movie has been backed by S Radhakrishna under Haarika & Hassine Creations.  

In this film, we will also likely feature actors like Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Samyukhtha Menon, and Sreeleela in supporting roles. It will be edited by national award-winning technician Navin Nooli. In this, the technical team is comprising music director S Thaman, choreographer Ram-Laxman, cinematographer PS Vinod, and art director AS Prakash.  

Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas are coming jointly after 12 years.  In this new poster of SSMB28, we will see Mahesh Babu in an intense avatar. In this case, he has got both, style and swag. In the latest film, there is Pooja Hegde is the leading lady. Anbu-Arivu is the famous action choreographer duo handling stunt choreography.  S Thaman has composed music for the highly anticipated project. The post-theatrical streaming rights of SSMB 28 have been sold to Netflix for a whopping amount.

While Mahesh Babu arrives in style you will only get Red Chillies all over the air. You will get Some of Mahesh Babu’s best films – Okkadu, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu – released during the Sankranthi festival and now, the makers of SSMB28 promise another memorable outing.  

PS Vinod is the main cinematographer, like Prakash’s art director and Navin Nooli is the editor. Other details about the film and its team will be out soon. It has been written that Pooja Hegde has shared a new release date announcement poster of her upcoming film with Mahesh Babu.

Mahesh Babu is also working on hands with the mega director, SS Rajamouli for a new project, tentatively called SSMB29. MB’s first Pan-Indian film, SSMB 29 will be a globe-trotting adventure. 

SSMB28  OTT Release Date 

Mahesh Babu’s SSMB28 is going to stream on the OTT giant Netflix. The news reports have confirmed that the OTT rights for the film have gone at a whopping Rs 80 crore.
