What’s Being Reported
According to a report by Gulte, Mahesh Babu wants to squeeze in a quick project after wrapping “Varanasi” — possibly giving his dates even before the SS Rajamouli epic releases. The actor is expected to take a one-month break for “Varanasi” promotions, after which the Ravipudi film could roll into production, with Sankranti 2028 pegged as the target window. Discussions are reportedly underway, though nothing has been officially confirmed by either party yet.
This would mark the duo’s second collaboration after “Sarileru Neekevvaru,” the 2020 action comedy where Mahesh Babu played an army officer uncovering a village conspiracy, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, Vijayashanti, and Prakash Raj. The film was a major commercial success and remains one of the actor’s most loved outings.
