The Witcher Season 4 OTT Release Date, Cast and What Comes Next for Geralt’s Final Ride

Geralt has a new face, Ciri has a bigger fight, and the Continent is more chaotic than ever. If you’re searching for The Witcher Season 4 details, here’s the no-fluff version.

The Witcher Season 4 : Overview

Unlike Season 3, which came in two volumes, Season 4 arrived in a single drop, so there was no waiting between batches.

What Is It About?

After a war-torn Continent tears the trio apart, Geralt, Yennefer and Ciri fight to survive and find their way back to each other. Netflix has said Seasons 4 and 5 were filmed back to back, adapting the final three Sapkowski novels: Baptism of Fire, The Tower of the Swallow and Lady of the Lake.

The Hemsworth Question

The biggest talking point was always the casting change. Hemsworth’s Geralt divided fans, and reports note the season holds the series’ lowest Rotten Tomatoes score at 60%. Still, viewers who stuck with it often praised his more emotionally open take on the White Wolf. For series background, the Wikipedia page for The Witcher is a solid primer.

What About Season 5?

Season 5 is the final season, and filming has wrapped. Netflix first pointed to late 2026, but reports say it has quietly moved into 2027. Netflix hasn’t confirmed an exact date, so keep an eye on the official Netflix Tudum for announcements.
