Spotify Teases GTA 6 Music Collaboration With Massive Billboards Across NYC, LA & Miami

Two months out from launch, and Rockstar’s marketing machine just added a new player to the mix. Spotify has started promoting GTA 6 music collaborations through striking billboards in major US cities, hinting that a full soundtrack reveal might be closer than fans think.

The Spotify x GTA 6 Billboard Campaign

What Exactly Is Happening?

On September 15, a coordinated wave of A-list musicians began posting custom, GTA 6-styled artwork to their social accounts, each tagging Rockstar Games. The very next day, Spotify took the tease physical — plastering expanded versions of that same artwork, blended with its own logo, across electronic billboards in Herald Square, Melrose Avenue, and locations in Miami. Spotify shared the billboard images on its own social channels with a simple, cryptic caption, while Rockstar has stayed silent on the details of the partnership.

Travis Scott’s Cryptic Clue

Among the artists, Travis Scott’s post stood out the most. Alongside artwork of a pole dancer’s feet, he wrote that this was only “Phase 1” of his tease, promising a return to gaming with plenty of energy and dancing. Fans quickly latched onto a string of letters in his caption, decoding it as a possible reference to “Jack of Hearts” — an in-game strip club — suggesting Travis Scott could have a meaningful presence tied to that location.

Is In-Game Spotify Integration Coming?

The billboard rollout has fueled speculation about something bigger than a soundtrack reveal: the possibility of actual in-game Spotify integration, letting players link personal accounts to stream their own playlists through in-game car radios or smartphones. However, many in the community remain skeptical, pointing to licensing hurdles and Rockstar’s long-standing preference for its own carefully curated, satirical radio stations. The more likely scenario, according to most reports, is that Spotify will host exclusive previews and curated playlists tied to the game’s soundtrack ahead of its November launch.

This isn’t Spotify’s first brush with the franchise — the platform already hosts official playlists tied to earlier GTA titles and Red Dead Redemption 2. But this marks by far its most visible and coordinated push yet.

With GTA 6 launching on November 19, 2026, for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, fans can expect more reveals about the game’s radio stations and soundtrack contributors in the weeks ahead.
