Sony WH-1000XM6 Olive Gray Launched in India: Price, Specs

Sony just gave its flagship noise-cancelling headphones a fresh coat of paint — literally. The WH-1000XM6 now comes in a moody Olive Gray finish, joining a lineup that already dominates conversations around the best noise-cancelling headphones segment in India.

Sony WH-1000XM6 Olive: A Colour Built for “Quiet Luxury”

Sony says the new shade draws from natural, earthy tones — riding the same “quiet luxury” wave that’s currently shaping fashion and tech design alike. It slots in as a subtler alternative to the recently launched Sandstone variant, giving buyers more room to match the headphones with their everyday style rather than settling for basic black.

If you’re tracking how audio brands are chasing lifestyle appeal alongside performance, it’s a trend worth watching alongside our coverage of wearables and gadget launches in India.

Why the XM6 Still Matters

Under the new paint job, the substance hasn’t changed — and that’s a good thing. The QN3 processor and 12-microphone array continue to make this one of the most refined ANC setups you can buy, while AI-powered beamforming mics aim to fix the age-old complaint of muffled call quality on the move.

Features like Auracast and LE Audio also show Sony is future-proofing the XM6 for next-gen Bluetooth broadcasting, not just chasing a colour refresh for headlines.

Should You Buy the Olive Gray Variant?

At ₹39,990, the Olive Gray XM6 costs the same as every other colourway — so this is purely a style choice, not a spec upgrade. If black headphones feel overdone to you, this is a genuinely tasteful way to stand out without touching the price tag.
