Sony Santa Monica, in which studio God of War was made, has now posted a job listing for a new unannounced game.
During PS5’s showcasing, the studio revealed the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok, which is going to release this year. Sony Santa Monica has tweeted about the new vacancy of an Art Director position by writing, “seeking an experienced Art Director for the development of a new unannounced title,” so we are now very sure that the job role is not for God of War 2.
Till now, we only know that Sony Santa Monica is going to hire for its new game and that isn’t God of War 2. But, ‘GamesRadar’ got some clues about this mystery game. Many times, seeing the job description, some details can be assumed but here nothing is worth pointing out.
A few years back, Sony Santa Monica was working on a sci-fi game, but that was then cancelled in 2014. In 2017, from that project concept art eventually surfaced. But this doesn’t indicate that it has any relation with the game which is now in development. It is just a possibility that the studio could work on its old project.
There is also a piece of news about Roger Clark, the voice actor of Arthur Morgan in Red Dead Redemption 2, who could work with Sony Santa Monica. Even if we assume that the theories are true, it is possible that Clark is giving voice to a character of God of War 2, not the game for which the job listing is tweeted.
