Sony reveals new PlayStation Plus Subscription tiers: Know Everything

Sony declared about PlayStation’s three-tier subscriptions are set to launch on the 13th of June. The new PlayStation Plus subscriptions are like a package of benefits for gamers.

It’s true there are some similarities with Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass, which provides users with a library of a huge number of games instead of monthly paying. Sony also reveals a list of games that hold the launch time frame. The most surprising fact is Sony contains no first-party games in its new subscription tiers. 

3.PlayStation Plus Essential:

This is the lowest subscription service that contains the same benefits as the PlayStation Plus members have today, and it costs $9.99/month. In this subscription, you will get PlayStation Plus benefits, free monthly games, Online multiplayer, and PS Store discounts. PlayStation Plus Essential players will get a monthly refresh on the first Tuesday. 

If you want to pay quarterly then you have to pay $24.99. If you want to pay yearly then you have to pay $59.99.

2.PlayStation Plus Extra: 

PlayStation drops this tier as the middle that arrives with huge perks like the Essential tier but it consists maximum of 400 PS4 and PS5 games the games available in this tier can be downloaded for online play. If you want to take this subscription then you have to pay $14.99 per month with additional access to the gaming catalogue.

The players of this tier will get the refresh in the middle of the month.  If you want to pay quarterly then you have to pay $39.99. If you want to pay yearly then you have to pay $99.

The players of this tier will get the refresh in the middle of the month. This subscription service has improved frame rates with a higher quality of resolution in comparison to the original launch versions.

The games in this subscription service provide a high user interface provide the ability to rewind. In this subscription, PlayStation provides time-limited game trials. You can get limited trials of six games which are” Horizon Forbidden West”, “Cyberpunk2077”, “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands”, and “WWE 2K22”.

Sony also confirms that Ubisoft will reveal its new subscription package to PlayStation as Ubisoft Plus Classics. Ubisoft Plus subscription is available on PC, Stadia, and Luna.

PlayStation Plus is arriving in North and South America on 13th June, and in Asia, it will hit on 24th May, 2nd June in Japan, and in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand will come on 23rd June.
