Salman Khan’s Sikandar Teaser Promises Action-Packed Thrills Ahead of Eid 2025 Release

An Action-Packed Dramatic Teaser

It shows the protagonist’s entry into a high-octane, action world, in a hyper-stylized/action-wise introduction, packed with thrills. As he walks past a cabinet of futuristic weapons, we see him face off against machine humans. Salman’s voice is heard saying, “Bahut log mere peeche pade hain, bas mere mudne ki der hai,” meaning “Many people are after me, it’s just a matter of me turning around.” The teaser is further enhanced by an electrifying background score composed by Santosh Narayanan, adding intensity to the gripping action.

First Poster and Teaser Release Delays

Salman introduced his first poster for his Sikandar on December 26, sharing a glimpse of himself donning a sharp suit, with a spear in his hand in an adventurous dark scenery. The teaser was first scheduled to be released on December 27, the day after Salman’s 59th birthday, but the filmmakers moved it a day early to mark the passing of the late Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

Reconnecting with Sajid Nadiadwala

Sikandar is the reunion of Salman Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who have previously delivered hits like Kick and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi together. With Salman as a raw, energetic character, the ethos of the film, along with its pulsating action teaser, is expectedly high.

A New Beginning After Recent Setbacks

After a string of films have underperformed both critically and commercially over the past few years, Salman Khan is now hoping that Sikandar will see him return to his blockbuster roots. The film’s South Indian influence on Bollywood gave a major boost to his career in 2009. Sikandar maintains that trend, directed by Murugadoss.

Fan Expectations and Teaser Reactions

While the teaser came a day late, reactions came in online where fans and netizens hailed the action and visuals. Salman’s recent box office outings have been on opposite sides of the coin: Tiger 3 did well but was dulled by its exorbitant price tag, while Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan flopped both commercially and critically. Sikandar has the potential to return Salman to the top of his game when it releases in Eid 2025.
