Seyon: Sivakarthikeyan’s SK26 Title Revealed – Kamal Haasan Reunites With Tamil Star After Amaran Blockbuster

Sivakarthikeyan’s highly anticipated 26th film finally has a name! Titled Seyon, the project marks another collaboration between the Tamil superstar and legendary actor-producer Kamal Haasan following their blockbuster success with Amaran.

Seyon Film Details at a Glance

First Look: Sivakarthikeyan’s Rustic Avatar

The first look poster unveiled by Raaj Kamal Films International showcases Sivakarthikeyan in a completely transformed rustic avatar. Sporting a rugged hairstyle and wielding a traditional sickle, the actor is surrounded by peacocks in what appears to be a rural setting.

The title Seyon holds significant meaning as it’s directly associated with Lord Murugan, one of Hinduism’s most revered deities. This connection strongly hints at mythological elements woven into the narrative, though official confirmation awaits the February 17 celebration event.

Accompanying the striking visual, the production team shared a powerful tagline: “Veeram Undu, Vetri Undu” (Where there is courage, there is victory), setting an inspirational tone for the film.

The Winning Combination Returns

After delivering the massive hit Amaran together, Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan’s reunion has Tamil cinema buzzing with excitement. Amaran, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, was a biographical action drama that dominated box offices and proved the power of their collaboration.

This time, legendary actor Kamal Haasan returns as producer through his prestigious Raaj Kamal Films International banner, while Sivakarthikeyan not only stars but also co-produces through Sivakarthikeyan Productions. This dual production approach demonstrates both stars’ commitment to quality storytelling.

Director Sivakumar Murugesan’s Big Break

Seyon marks director Sivakumar Murugesan’s second feature film. The filmmaker is currently awaiting the release of his debut project Thaai Kizhavi, starring veteran actress Radikaa Sarathkumar, scheduled for February 20, 2026.

Landing a project with Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan for just his second film speaks volumes about the director’s talent and the faith these industry giants have placed in his vision.

What’s Next For Both Stars

Sivakarthikeyan recently appeared in Parasakthi, Sudha Kongara’s period political drama now streaming on ZEE5. The film explored two brothers navigating a major political upheaval, co-starring Ravi Mohan, Sreeleela, and Atharvaa Murali. He’s also lined up for a project with director Venkat Prabhu.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is preparing for KH237, an actioner directed by Anbariv and penned by Kumbalangi Nights writer Syam Pushkaran. Industry buzz also suggests a historic collaboration between Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, with a promo shoot reportedly already completed.
