Victory Selfie Expands to Team Competitions

First introduced at Paris 2024, the Victory Selfie powered by the Olympic Edition allowed athletes to capture podium moments from their own perspective. At Milano Cortina 2026, it makes its Winter Olympic debut and expands beyond individual and pair podium moments to include wider team celebrations for the first time, reflecting the collaborative nature of winter sports.

Athletes can now capture and share achievements together with teammates and instantly share them with loved ones and fans worldwide. Stephanie Choi, EVP and Head of Mobile Marketing Center at Samsung Electronics, emphasized that athletes remain at the heart of the Games with this meaningful mobile innovation continuing the commitment started at Sochi 2014.

Galaxy AI Powers Athlete Experience

The Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition integrates several AI-powered features designed for Games-time needs. Now Brief provides personalized daily updates including reminders, calendar events, fitness summaries, and integrates with Athlete365 for competition information and mental health support.

Photo Assist brings studio-quality enhancements to images by moving, erasing, or enlarging objects, adjusting angles, and filling backgrounds with AI capability. The on-device Interpreter feature lowers language barriers by providing real-time translation regardless of network connection, enabling seamless communication even in mountainous areas without connectivity.

Pre-Loaded Apps and Services

The Olympic Edition comes with a curated suite of essential apps to support athletes throughout Milano Cortina 2026. The Galaxy Athlete Card experience offers digital profile exchange, card collection, and interactive activities fostering community across disciplines and delegations.

Athletes receive complimentary 100GB 5G eSIM connectivity along with Samsung Wallet access to digital passes and services developed with Worldwide and Local Partners, including Coca-Cola Free Beverage Key for vending machines across Villages. Pre-installed fitness applications enable workout tracking and personalized training insights using exercise equipment inside Olympic and Paralympic Villages.

Victory Profile Initiative With Galaxy S25 Ultra

Samsung introduces the Victory Profile, a new athlete storytelling initiative developed with nine National Olympic Committees including France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Norway, Netherlands, Sweden, UK, and USA. Leveraging curated portraits captured on Galaxy S25 Ultra, the project showcases approximately 490 athletes’ unique passions and individualities beyond podium moments.

The iconic design commemorates participation with signature blue color aligning with Milano Cortina 2026 style representing Samsung’s identity combined with Italian azure cultural resonance. The custom gold metal frame symbolizes athletes’ pursuit of excellence and podium moments. The clear magnet case features blue circular magnet surrounded by gold laurel leaves as victory motifs.

Distribution begins January 30 at Olympic Villages across six cities, with Samsung Open Station offering on-site professional customer service for device activation, data transfer, and technical support.
