What’s more, a teaser for the rumored 5G smartphone has emerged on Flipkart, initially brought to light by tipster Abhishek Yadav.
The Rumors about the Upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE
The teaser doesn’t specifically state the name of the upcoming Samsung smartphone, but its design does. The Galaxy S23 FE is likely to be a more affordable version of the premium Samsung Galaxy S23, which was released earlier this year. The teaser strongly hints that it will have a similar design to the premium S23 series. Fortunately, leaks have already provided fans with an idea of what to expect in terms of specifications and pricing.
According to reports, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will have a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display that will most likely feature a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s expected to be powered by either a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 chipset, both of which have previously powered flagship devices. The phone could offer up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Additionally, this premium 5G phone is anticipated to include an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Under the hood, a 4,370mAh battery is rumored, with details regarding fast charging support yet to be disclosed. Samsung is not expected to include a charger in the retail package, in line with its recent practice. The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may sport a triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel camera, and an 8-megapixel sensor. For selfies and video calls, a 10-megapixel front camera is likely.
The tipster also suggests that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE will be priced at ₹54,999 for the 128GB storage variant, with the 256GB model expected to retail for ₹59,999. Although Samsung skipped the launch of the Galaxy S22 FE, the Galaxy S21 FE was offered in a similar price range.
