Ruturaj Gaikwad becomes 9th Indian to score a T20I century with impressive knock against Australia

Ruturaj Gaikwad scored a remarkable 123 in the third T20I against Australia, helping the hosts cross the 200-run mark for the third straight game. He turned things around from 81-3 in 10.3 overs to 222-3 at the end of the innings. In comparison, the rest of the team was only able to score 99 runs including extras.

In the process, Gaikwad became the ninth-ever Indian to score a T20I century, with the last player being Yashasvi Jaiswal. The batter has had a remarkable tournament, after scoring a half-century against Australia in their previous game.
