Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus launched in China

Xiaomi officially launched the much-awaited Redmi Note 11 series smartphones today in China. The latest Note 11 series includes three variants that are the Redmi Note 11 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro and the premium Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus. The pro variants have identical designs and several similar features. However, the battery provided by the company is different in all the variants and their front camera is placed inside the punch hole on the display. Let us take a look at the price, specifications, and features of the Redmi Note 11 series.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus’s key feature is its fast charging capabilities. The device comes with 120W fast charging support which charges the phone fully in just 15 minutes – this is by the fastest charging on any Redmi Note series device and it also undercuts many flagships as well. The phone comes with a 4,500mAh battery unit. It also comes with TUV Rheinland certification and a vapour cooling system to keep thermals under check.

Powering the device is MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset with four Arm Cortex-A78 clocked at 2.5GHz and four Arm Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0GHz. The SoC is built on a 6nm fabrication process. It sports a 108MP main camera (Samsung HM2) with dual OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP telemacro camera. It also houses a 16MP selfie snapper. There is a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120Hz screen refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate on the front. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. All three phones run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android, support 5G, and up to 256GB internal storage with up to 8GB of RAM. The trio also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Redmi Note 11 Pro sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, centre-positioned punch-hole cutout, 20:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 paired with Mali-G68 MC4, up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box and a 16MP selfie snapper on the front.

Moving to optics, the Redmi Note 11 Pro has triple cameras on the back, with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone is equipped with JBL speakers, symmetrical speakers, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a metal frame. There is a 5,160mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, 5G, 3.5mm headphone jack, and more.

Redmi Note 11 sports a 6.6-inch FHD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera. The phone has dual cameras on the back, with a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP secondary depth sensor for portraits. There is a 16MP selfie snapper on the front for selfies and video chats. It runs on Android 11 OS with MIUI 12.5 custom skin out of the box. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and Bluetooth 5.0. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

The Redmi Note 11 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset with Mali-G57 MC2 GPU for games. It comes in 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB options. It measures 163.56 x 75.78 x 8.75 mm and weighs 195 grams. There is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

Redmi Note 11 Series pricing

The new Redmi Note 11 5G is priced starting at CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 14,000) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone also comes in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB models that are priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 16,400), CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 18,700), and CNY 1,699 (roughly Rs. 21,100), respectively. Redmi Note 11 5G comes in Black Realm, Shallow Dream Galaxy, and Slight Mint colours.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 Pro is priced at CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,700) for the 6GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 22,300) and the 8GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 24,500).

Lastly, the most premium Redmi Note 11 Pro+ will be priced at CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 22,200) for the 6GB + 128GB option. It also comes in an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option that is priced at CNY 2,099 (roughly Rs. 24,500) and 8GB + 256GB version that is priced at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 26,900). The two Pro models come in Misty Forest, Mysterious Black, Shallow Dream Galaxy, and Time Quite Purple hues. All three phones will go on sale from November 1.
