Redmi A2 Series Set to Debut in India on May 19th

On May 19, the Redmi A2 will debut in India. The sub-brand of Xiaomi announced on Twitter on Friday that the new A-series smartphones have arrived in the nation. The upcoming model is said to have an octa-core processor and a 5,000mAh battery.

In March, a few global markets saw the release of the Redmi A2 series, which included the standard Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+. They have a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD screen and a MediaTek Helio G36 SoC. They have a dual 8-megapixel back camera unit.

Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ were both introduced in March in Europe. They have a 6.52-inch HD+ (1600×720 pixels) LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and run Android 12 (Go edition). The phones have a waterdrop-shaped notch on the screen where the selfie camera is located. A MediaTek Helio G36 SoC along with up to 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 32GB of onboard eMMC 5.1 storage power the Redmi A2 series of smartphones.

A primary 8-megapixel sensor and a QVGA camera have been included in the dual back camera arrangement. There includes a 5-megapixel front camera for taking selfies and video chat.
