Some comebacks aren’t about box office numbers — they’re about the heart. That’s exactly what happened when Ravi Mohan stood before cameras again, this time not to walk away from cinema, but to promise he never will.
Weeks after an emotional media interaction where he hinted at stepping back from films over personal turmoil, the actor showed up at an awards event with tears in his eyes and a very different message. “Half of my life has been spent in cinema,” he said. “I have only one regret — that my personal decision has hurt many people. I ask for your forgiveness. I will not betray you.”
He went further, vowing to return as the characters fans love — Santhosh, Kumaran, Dhuruvan, Thanioruvan, Ponniyin Selvan, and soon, Karathey Babu. Choosing peace over success and happiness over fame, Ravi’s words felt less like a celebrity statement and more like a heartfelt letter to his audience.
