Fitness influencer and powerlifter Rajat Dalal just revealed one of the most shocking injury stories to come out of Indian reality TV. What Actually Happened?
Rajat shared his MRI report publicly, which confirmed a full-thickness tear of the tendinous component of lateral fibers of the triceps tendon with approximately 3 cm retraction of torn fibers. In plain terms — this is the kind of injury that most athletes would immediately stop competing for.
Rajat explained it himself: “The 50 ke pehle din ke shoot pe mere ko tendon tear ho gaya tha, thick tear tha, 2.8 cm ka. Jo baad me ek task jab maine perform kara usme badh ke 3 cm ho gaya.” He added: “Par show ki commitment thi aur mera man bhi nahi tha chorne ka… to pehle show complete kara.”
The man finished the show, reached the finale, and only then got the surgery done. That’s a level of mental toughness that even elite athletes rarely show.

Surgery Done, Recovery Underway
Rajat confirmed: “Aaj wo surgery hui hai aur achi hui hai” — reassuring his massive fanbase that the procedure went well.
A tendon tear of this magnitude typically requires several months of rehabilitation, especially for someone whose identity is built around physical strength and powerlifting. The road to full recovery won’t be short, but fans are rallying behind him.
