For the red carpet, she chose a custom sculptural gown by designer Amit Aggarwal, created from a nearly 20-year-old chikankari saree. The vintage textile was transformed into a dramatic one-shoulder couture piece featuring traditional Indian embroidery alongside futuristic design elements. The outfit reportedly took over six weeks to complete.

The inspiration was drawn from Lucknow’s chikankari embroidery tradition, and was developed in collaboration with women artisans across generations who worked entirely by hand on the embroidery and detailing.

Chopra Jonas paired the finished gown with Bvlgari jewellery, including a diamond necklace set with green stones, and completed her look with a deep berry lip, pink blush, and a golden smoky eye.

Designer Amit Aggarwal shared an emotional note on social media, writing that his mother had admired Priyanka for years and calling the creation a personal gift to her — and to all mothers who give their children the courage to dream.
