Prime Volleyball league Auction: Here’s the list of highest-paid players in the tournament

In the Prime Volleyball league Auction, 24 players have been sold to seven franchises on the first day. Namely, they are the Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Ahmedabad Defenders, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes and the Kolkata Thunderbolts. They got the best players for their teams. Over 300 players in under 21, silver and Bronze categories will be up for the bid in the second session of the auction. The highest bid which was Rs. 15 Lakh was acquired by Ashwal Rai, Karthik A and Jerome Vinith by Kolkata Thunderbolts, Kochi Blue Spikers and Calicut Heroes respectively on Tuesday.

Ahmedabad Defenders- Ryan Meehan, Rodrigo Villalboa

Gold Category

Muthusamy Appavu (Ahmedabad Defenders) and Amit Gulia (Hyderabad Black Hawks) were bought with the highest price in this section

Under 21 category

SV Guru Prasanth (Hyderabad Black Hawks) and C Venu (Kochi Blue Spikers) were the two players had the two highest bid in the Under 21 category with 6.75 lakh and 3 lakh respectively.

Silver Category

Mujeeb M C (Calicut Heroes), Hari Prasad B S (Kolkata Thunderbolts) and Vinayak Rokhade (Bengaluru Torpedoes) were the three top players in the silver category with 6.25 lakh, 5.75 lakh and 5.75 lakh respectively.

Bronze Category

Abhilash Chaudhary was bought for 2 lakhs by Chennai Biltz. Sudhir Shetty(Hyderabad Black Hawks), Saju Prakash Mehal(Ahmedabad Defenders), Dushyanth Gn (Kochi Blue Spikers)and Varun GS (Bengaluru torpedoes) were bought for 1.5 lakhs each.

Getting off to a good start is always important and we are ecstatic with the way the events have unfolded today. The league will be broadcast on Sony network and is marketed by Baseline Ventures. A total of 24 ventures will be conducted. A total of 7 teams will be there namely Calicut Heroes, Kochi Blue Spikers, Ahmedabad Defenders, Hyderabad Black Hawks, Chennai Blitz, Bengaluru Torpedoes and Kolkata Thunderbolts.
