POCO is gearing up to launch its upcoming X7 series on January 9, 2025, globally and in India. It features X7 Pro’s robust hardware and is inspired by Marvel’s iconic superhero Iron Man. The POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition is inspired by the superhero with a bold red and gold color palette.

The rear panel also features a golden POCO logo, Iron Man, and Avengers branding. The camera module and power button are framed in red, making for a striking design. This isn’t POCO’s first superhero-themed phone; they previously launched the POCO F6 Deadpool Edition.

POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition: Marvel-Inspired Design, Dimensity 8400 Ultra, 6550mAh Battery, 90W Charging

Internally, the Iron Man Edition is the same as the POCO X7 Pro. The AnTuTu test score of the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset reveals a power level worth ~1.7 million, making it a significant upgrade over the POCO X6 Pro. It also supports LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, to provide better multitasking and gaming capabilities. It is powered by HyperOS 2.0 to improve image rendering, game playability, and the UI.

One of the highlight features of POCO X7 Pro in India is its huge 6550mAh battery (for the global variant, it is a 6000mAh battery), which is the largest battery on a smartphone in India. With carbon-silicon technology and a solid electrolyte, it promises improved efficiency, faster charging, and longer lifespan. It has more than 80 percent capacity retention even after 1,600 charge cycles. The POCO Surge P2 charging chip allows for a faster, safer charging experience with 90W wired charging.

The POCO X7 Pro Iron Man Edition also has a 50MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) that ensures sharp and steady shots. More specific information regarding cameras has not yet been shared. POCO X7 Pro is anticipated to come under the price range of ₹30,000 in India and the X7 Pro edition which is dedicated to Iron Man might also be launched mimicking the previous superhero-based releases of POCO.
