POCO India announced earlier today that it will be extending the warranty of all its users who are owners of a POCO device with expiring warranties in the month of May and June of 2021.
POCO further on went the extra mile to urge all its users to get vaccinated as soon as possible in order to stay safe from the second wave of the coronavirus.
POCO has surprised all its users by calling off all their launches that they had planned for May 2021 as a result of the pandemic. Any speculation on the release of POCO devices will have to be pushed to the second half of 2021.
POCO was expected to launch the POCO M3 Pro and the much-awaited F3 GT in June or July of this year. That launch could still take place provided there is an improvement in the current scenario.
POCO is not the first company to decide to dial down the launch of new products this year, Realme and Micromax also decided to forego any launches in May and ASUS was forced to push its release of the Zenfone 8 series.
The second wave of the COVID 19 pandemic has hit India harder than any other country. Infection rates have peaked and an acute shortage of adequate medical facilities has worsened the situation. Production and logistics of smartphone companies have been hit hard.
We at TechnoSports urge all our readers to take care of themselves and get vaccinated at the earliest!
