Ravi Shastri said MS Dhoni will play a major role in boosting India’s bid to regain the title.
A day before heading to England for the upcoming World Cup, coach Ravi Shastri said MS Dhoni will play a major role in boosting India’s bid to regain the title, harping on the veteran’s ability to influence the game’s little moments.
Shastri has faith in Dhoni’s ability to influence the game’s little moments.
Dhoni is speculated to feature in his final World Cup. He was in supreme form in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League. The 37-year-old scored 416 runs at an average of 83.2 in the last IPL. Led Chennai Super Kings to the final and the coach said that he was impressed with the former India skipper’s footwork during IPL 2019.

“It is great to see the way he was moving in the IPL especially when he was batting. The footwork, the power in the shots, he will be a big player in this World Cup,” Shastri said.
For the first time since 1992, the World Cup is being played in a round-robin format.
MS Dhoni the 2011 World Cup-winning captain, has been the go-to man for Team India cricketers including current skipper Virat Kohli. MS Dhoni’s abilities to read the game from behind the stumps. Guide the players make him an indispensable part of the team.
“It will be very challenging. If you look at 2014 and 2019 now, the gap has become closer between the teams” Shastri said.
Dhoni’s knack to pull off no look run outs and brilliant stumpings makes one of the finest stumpers in world cricket. And coach Shastri said he has shown that there is no one better than him.

Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben scored on their final league appearances for Bayern Munich as they wrapped up their 7th consecutive Bundesliga title with a 5-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Franck Ribery signed off from the Allianz Arena in his trademark fashion in the 72nd minute, jinking between two defenders and clipping superbly over Trapp for an emotional fourth. Not to be outdone, though, Arjen Robben tapped in from Alaba’s cross 12 minutes from time to kick-start the celebrations.
Ribery and Robben will leave Bayern Munich at the end of this season on free transfers as their contracts are due to expire and Saturday’s 7th consecutive Bundesliga title-sealing victory over Eintracht Frankfurt provided the perfect home finale for the two legends of Bayern Munich, rather legends of football.
Ribery played 12 years for Bayern Munich after his €25 million transfer from Marseille in 2007. He won nine Bundesliga trophies. The Frenchman savoured his final Allianz Arena appearance ahead of next week’s DFB-Pokal decider against RB Leipzig in Berlin. Ribery said: “My whole family, my kids, my wife, my parents, my wife’s parents and my cousins have come from France for this special moment. It was hard but the main thing is we’re champions. It’s my last great moment here at the Allianz Arena, with my colleagues and the fans. It’s not as if I’ve been here two or three years, I’ve been a Bayern player for 12 years. I’ve had many great moments here but my best season was 2013. What we achieved then was incredible.”
Arjen Robben arrived at Bayern Munich a couple of years later after Franck Ribery. Louis van Gaal insisted on balance which saw Robben arrive from Real Madrid for around the same price. Robben also enjoyed a memorable home farewell. The 35-year-old came as a substitute and scored in the second half to add to the title celebrations. The former Netherlands international won 8 Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich. He added: “Many emotions run through your body after a match like this, you can’t put it into words. It’s something you have to experience yourself. But the best thing is that many lads who played with me during my time at Bayern were here today. I fought for my comeback for five months, and today was the reward.”
Franck Ribery was overcome with emotions and broke down in tears in front of the Sudkurve stand. While Arjen Robben bemoaned not finding the net for the second time in a TV interview – it would have been his 100th Bundesliga goal – and admitted that he had done everything to get one last run-out before his farewell. “It was important to me to play one more time, I was totally up for the game,” said the 35-year-old, who had missed most of the campaign with a series of injuries. They didn’t call him “ego shooter” for nothing in the local tabloids.
Their place in the club’s pantheon of superstar icons is indeed assured. The duo did not just magically combine to produce the most crucial goal in Bayern’s recent history – the 2-1 winner over Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final in 2013 – they were also instrumental in lifting the Bundesliga giants back to the group of the European elites after a few years in the second-rank doldrums.
Ribery and Robben’s combined tally of 185 league goals have gone some way to help Bayern Munich win 8 Bundesliga titles in 10 seasons. But their deepest impact, however, was on the team’s identity. Germany’s most successful side had traditionally relied on dominant players in the centre: sweepers, all-action box-to-box specialists and powerful centre-forwards. Robben and Ribery made Bayern’s game lateral. Thanks to “Robbery”‘s domineering influence, the team’s all-important metamorphosis into a position-possession team was both smooth and inevitable.
Niko Kovac said Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben shaped Bayern Munich and the Bundesliga as the head coach heaped praise on the departing duo. He said: “I made two notes today in the meeting. One was that we want to become champions, of course. But we wanted to go one better and give the two [Robben and Ribery] a nice farewell. That they do it the way Alex Meier did last year… They come in and scored both. You cannot plan that better. And that shows with what passion the two and Alex in the last year have played. That pleases me very much. Because they have shaped the Bundesliga for 10 years. They shaped this club. It was clear they would come in. It was hard to tell them that they did not play from the beginning because we footballers have all been in this situation before. But I had to make a sporting decision. And the two who started [Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry] have done well. Especially in the second half of the season. It would also have been unjust if I had left these two out.”
On the day when Robben and Ribery’s glittering Bayern careers came to an end, Coman and Gnabry showed why the club do not need to spend big to replace them. The pair were dazzling in the wide areas and can surely expect to play as vital roles for Bayern in the coming years as their predecessors have over the past decade.

AMD started off the APU concept years ago, combining the CPU horsepower with graphical capabilities. Last year they introduced two members of its AMD Ryzen “Picasso” family namely – Ryzen 3 2200G and Ryzen 5 2400G.
Both of them became increasingly popular among budget gamers due to the strong iGPU that they provided along with a capable processor. So, the leaks of the upcoming Ryzen 3000 “Picasso” family is here before the actual launch.
AMD Ryzen 3000 “Picasso” family based on Zen+ architecture
The new end Ryzen 3000 APUs will be based on the older Zen+ architecture on not on the upcoming Zen 2 architecture, because the previous APUs were based on 14nm Zen architecture.
So, these upcoming new chips will be based on the 12nm FinFET process which was previously seen on the 2nd Ryzen lineup. For this reason you won’t notice much difference in performance from the last gen.
Ryzen 5 3400G
This time too this chip will feature four cores and eight threads with 4 MB of L3 cache. You’ll notice a slight increase in clock speed this time with 3.70 GHz being the base clock speed and 4.20 GHz boost.
On the graphics front, there’s the same Vega 11 GPU with 704 stream processors and a TDP of 65W. There can be a slight increase in the GPU frequency somewhere in the range of 1300-1400 MHz.
The price of these CPUs will also be somewhere near to what its predecessors were during their launch, about $150 for the Ryzen 5 3400G.
Ryzen 3 3200G
As you saw for the previous CPU, this one too will bear a lot of similarities from its predecessor. With the Ryzen 3 3200G, you’ll be offered with the same four cores and four threads.
The processor will feature the same Vega 8 GPU with 512 SPs and have a TDP rating of 65W. It will have a 4 MB of L3 cache with clock speeds rated at 3.60 GHz base and 4.00 GHz boost. The GPU frequency is said to be nearly 1250 MHz.
If the CPU is priced around $100 mark then this one will also be a great APU to be featured on budget gaming builds.
Overall we see the new APUs will get a refresh from last year and we expect them to have more features which AMD will soon unveil at COMPUTEX 2019 and E3 of 2019.

Real Madrid had the worst 2018-19 season among all the top clubs of Europe. What has led to their downfall?
It’s pretty unusual for a club as big as Real Madrid to end the season without any major silverware. Real Madrid now have hit the panic button after a disastrous season which has seen the arrival and departure of three managers- first Zidane stepped down, in came Julen Lopetegui, after him came Santiago Solari and now Zidane is back again at the helm. Real Madrid was knocked out of all the competitions in just a week, after losing three consecutive matches at their home ground, Santiago Bernabeu. The week ranging from 27th February to 5th March has been the worst in their 117-year history: three home defeats, eight goals conceded and just one goal scored, all three competitions gone, one after the other – knocked out of the Copa del Rey, the La Liga title race, and the Champions League. But what has led to the downfall of the hugely successful team who have just won three consecutive Champions League titles?
One of the major reason which led to Real Madrid’s disastrous season was their inability to replace Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Juventus in the last summer. We know it’s impossible for any player on this planet to fill his boots. Losing a player like Ronaldo, who used to score 50 goals in each season is too much to afford for this Real Madrid side. But Real Madrid should have done better than signing Mariano Diaz and giving him the no. 7 shirt to replace Ronaldo!
Gareth Bale was tipped to take over the leadership but he has failed miserably and an exit in this transfer window is on the cards. It’s been quite the demise for Real Madrid no. 11 – just 12 months after his Champions League final heroics, Los Blancos can’t get Bale out of the door quickly enough. It’s a sad end to what’s been a rollercoaster ride for the former Tottenham man. There’s no doubt he’s had some memorable moments in the famous white shirt, but chronic injuries and the weight of expectation have seen him become a husk of his former self.
As we have seen in recent times, Real Madrid’s biggest strength in the previous years has become their weakness now. Earlier Kroos and Modric used to dominate the midfield, but their age has taken a toll on their playing too. Real Madrid’s midfield trio of Casemiro, Kroos and Modric have faded. They all look like positional midfielders and you can’t win a match with three positional midfielders. There is no penetration from the midfield which increases the pressure on the front three. Luka Modric has been a shadow of his former self this season. The Ballon d’Or winner was nowhere near his best and this badly affected the Real Madrid midfield.
Only Benzema has flourished this season after the departure of Ronaldo. Benzema has had the season of his life. He is back inside the six-yard box and back to scoring goals. He’s got over 20 goals for the first time in eight seasons and looks like, once again, one of the best centre forwards in Europe. He is one of the very few Real Madrid stars to come out with any credit this season.
Despite some poor performances, Zidane has shown faith in Toni Kroos. Zidane revealed that he is a part of his plan for next season. The German midfielder has signed a new contract with Los Blancos, tying him to the club until 2023. Real Madrid confirmed the news on Monday morning. Kroos will be 33 by the time the contract ends. Since joining the Spanish giants in 2014, the German has won three Champions League titles and one La Liga. He has scored 13 times in 233 appearances across all competition and the new deal signals his importance under Zinedine Zidane.
Kroos was asked about the impact of Pogba’s arrival on his playing position. He told the media conference: “That doesn’t change anything for me. I’ve fought for my place, played well, I don’t think I’ll have any problems to play. I don’t know who’s going to go, I don’t know who’s going to come. I’ve spoken to the manager, I know what his idea is. I’m going to be important, I can’t say anything else. I don’t know how many changes there are going to be. I’ve never had any doubts about my future. I want to be here always, and I’ve always said that.”
Kross also replied on Mbappe’s rumoured arrival at Real Madrid: “I like Mbappe as a player but that question’s not for me really. I can’t buy him, I’ve got a good contract but I can’t buy him. That’s a question for the club.”
Toni Kroos has always shown his desire to retire at Real Madrid. He told: “Many times, after the game against Ajax for example, I admitted that I wasn’t at my level, I’ve got no problem to say that. I really want to improve how I played but before I played four years consistently well, this year I played worse than the four years before that’s true. I’m still the same player, 29 years of age, and I still have three or four years at the top level I’m sure. The idea is to practically finish my career here, at age 38 I don’t think I’ll still be playing. The idea is this will be my last long contract here.”
Toni Kroos also tried to explain the reasons for Real Madrid’s disastrous season: “This year I don’t think any player really reached their top level. When that happens in a lot of players it’s difficult to have success. We’re all human beings. This is probably normal after winning three successive Champions Leagues. What’s not normal is winning three successive Champions Leagues. I thought that was impossible, but we did it. It’s probably a bit normal to not be at the highest level. The club’s going to change things, I’m happy to be here for another four years and I’m sure we’re going to have success together. When I see the semi-finals of the Champions League, the English clubs gave everything to come to this final, there you could see how difficult it is to win three times in a row this competition. The only thing we can do is to prepare for the next season, then we’ll see how it’s going. I’m still happy here not only when we things, but I’m still happy to improve again and that’s what we’re going to do. In previous years we’ve been at maximum level when we’ve had to be at maximum level, to do that for 38 games is difficult, we have to improve a lot.”
The Germany international added further: “For me this renewal is special for me, it’s a good sign from the club, I’ve got a very special relationship with the club. Since the first day, the club have had a lot of confidence in me, I’ve helped the club to win a lot of titles. Together we’re going to try to achieve a lot more success. If I had doubts about my future I wouldn’t be here today.”
Real Madrid are now preparing for a major transfer overhaul. Zidane is aware that the squad needs an almost wholesale overhaul and will play a major part in the recruitment process this summer. One of the main tenants of him, agreeing to come back to Santiago Bernabeu was that he would have a major influence on signings. Eden Hazard and Luka Jovic has reportedly agreed on personal terms with Real Madrid and Mbappe has also hinted at a possible departure from PSG. Pogba is also on the radar. A new left-back is also desperately needed to back up Marcelo. Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez haven’t turned up all season, that needs to be sorted and the whole Isco situation also needs resolution.

AMD’s upcoming server end EPYC 7nm processors are on the verge of its release in the coming months, and they already have sent the engineering samples to its partners. Now, the benchmarks from these partners are now available on SiSoftware Official Live Ranker website.
As these chips are engineering samples, so they do not have an official name on them. Like the 32 core model has a name of ZS1711E3VIVG5_24/17_N. The “Z” prefix also suggests that the leaked processor is a qualification sample (QS) and the specifications could be very close to the final product.
The 32 core and 64 thread model has a 1.7 GHz base clock speed and a 2.4 GHz boost, which has seen a big degrade from the last gen model. The chip features a large 16MB of L2 cache and a doubled 128MB of L3 cache.
AMD has lowered the clock speeds to commensurate the increase in instructions per clock (IPC) throughput, but the doubt still remains that how much relative performance will they provide compare to their previous successors.
On the other hand, the 64 core and 128 thread model is likely to have a 1.4 GHz base clock speed and a 2.2 GHz boost, with a humongous 256MB of L3 cache memory.
AMD could also increase the clock speeds before the actual product launch, but it seems that the Red team is facing some concerns with clock speeds on next-gen manufacturing nodes.
Intel also recently introduced their Xeon Platinum 9000-series that offers up to 56-core Xeon Platinum 9282 and a 48-core Xeon Platinum 9242 CPU. However, Intel is now undertaking AMD’s approach of connecting two dies together with fabric.
No information on the TDPs of these upcoming CPUs has been leaked so far, but surely it will be much lower than we have seen on the Intel Xeon chips.
Well, these aren’t the final numbers and results, so AMD can also increase clock speeds or make further improvements to show its 7nm superiority. For the actual product specifications, we have to wait for AMD until the Computex 2019 and its pre-E3 show.
Manchester City is the first men’s football team in history to complete a clean sweep of English football’s major honours in the same season.
Manchester City made English football history by becoming the first club ever to complete a domestic treble on Saturday. Raheem Sterling dispatched the decisive penalty in the shoot-out against Chelsea after February’s EFL Cup final finished goalless. While Manchester City edged out Liverpool in an epic Premier League title race by beating Brighton and Hove Albion 4-1 last weekend. And on Saturday they defeated Watford 6-0 in the FA Cup finals.
Arsenal’s Invincibles went a whole league season without tasting defeat. While the treble won by bitter rivals Manchester United under Alex Ferguson included a Champions League title won in the most extraordinary circumstances against Bayern Munich at Camp Nou. And now Manchester City are undoubtedly in that company. City’s domestic dominance cannot be questioned. They have racked up 198 points over the course of two sensational seasons is a record-breaking run that only Pep Guardiola’s side themselves are likely to match. Manchester City have retained their Premier League title for the second time. This feat has happened for the 1st time in decades. If such a phenomenal pace can be replicated next season then, regardless of City’s fortunes in the Champions League, it will be almost impossible to argue there has ever been a better team to grace the Premier League.
Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany told BBC Sport: “It’s the best team in the world for me. To set such a high standard, I’m not talking one year, but two years in a row, it’s a privilege. The first half was difficult. The second half, as soon as we scored the two goals, they had to come and press, it opened up the game for us and it made it more achievable to make chances. It wasn’t as easy as the score says, but what a season, what a tremendous club. It starts with the manager. We set the standard at the beginning of the season and said we had to go again, go back-to-back [win successive Premier League titles]. It’s the group, a positive group of young players with talent, and of course quality.”
The Belgian defender leaves Manchester City after an incredible 11 years with the Club, during which Manchester City fans have enjoyed unprecedented success. Vincent Kompany will take on a player-manager role at Belgian Pro League club Anderlecht.
Vincent Kompany wrote in a statement issued on his Facebook page: “Dear all, Community Shield Winners! Back 2 back League Cup Winners! Back 2 back Champions of England! FA Cup Winners! We’ve just seen the close of an incredible season. My 11th as a Blue. And I cannot believe I’m writing this but … also my last as a Blue. Countless of times have I imagined this day, after all, the end has felt nearby for so many years. It still doesn’t feel real. Man City has given me everything. I’ve tried to give back as much as I possibly could. How often does someone get the chance to end such an important chapter, representing a club with such great history and tradition, in such a great fashion? The time has come for me to go now. As overwhelming as it is, I feel nothing but gratefulness. I am grateful to all those who supported me on a special journey, at a very special club. I remember the first day, as clear as I see the last..I remember the boundless kindness I received from the people of Manchester. I will never forget how all Man City supporters remained loyal to me in good times and especially bad times. Against the odds you have always backed me and inspired me to never give up. Sheikh Mansour changed my life and that of all the City fans around the world, for that I am forever grateful. A blue nation has arisen and challenged the established order of things, I find that awesome. I cherish the counsel and leadership of a good human being, Khaldoon Al Mubarak. Man City could not be in better hands. It’s cliché to say it but it’s also so true: without my teammates I would have never been here today. We fought many battles together. Side by side. In good times and in bad. So to all of you, from the 2008-2009 squad to today’s domestic Treble winners: I owe you guys! A special word also to Pep and the backroom staff: you’ve been superb. You’ve followed me through so much hardship. You made me come back stronger every time. Thank you so much.”
Pep Guardiola told BBC Sport when he asked that if it was possible for his side to improve: “Well we have to. Always you can improve. It does not make sense to stand still. It’s good [the treble]. It has not been done before in this country, it’s the first time. One team can do it again because if we can do it another team can, but we are the first. Of course, it was an incredible final for us, not for Watford in the end. It has finished an incredible year for us, for all the people in the organisation of City a big congratulations, especially for the players of course because they are the main reason we have won these titles.”
Bernardo Silva has been the standout performer for Manchester City this season. Kevin De Bruyne was injured so it meant Bernardo Silva had to step up. Silva didn’t only step up, he became fundamental, excelling both in central midfield and on the right of attack. “Bernardo and 10 more” became a repeated Guardiola mantra, and the Portugal playmaker impressed just as much through tireless energy levels as with his velvet-footed creativity. Stones, Aguero and Leroy Sane provided the highlight reel moments in the win over Liverpool but three points would probably not have been achieved without Silva covering a scarcely credible 13.7 kilometres. Such lung-bursting efforts were a frequent feature and it is hard to think of a player in world football right now more attuned to Guardiola’s demands than his first name on the teamsheet.
The present Manchester City team deserves to be remembered forever. Football is evolving all the time and it’s widely accepted that the game in its current form is better, faster and more fine-tuned than it’s ever been. For that reason, it’s also widely accepted that Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have to be considered better players than the likes of Diego Maradona or Pele. So maybe this Manchester City side would have beaten the great Preston North End side of 1889, or even Manchester United’s 1999 treble winners. Whatever the results would have been, this group of Manchester City players and their manager have now cemented themselves as one of English football’s all-time greats.
Manchester City’s domestic treble (or quadruple if you count the Community Shield) may not be as impressive as the one achieved by their near neighbours, Manchester United 20 years ago but if an English clean sweep was easy, somebody else would have done it by now. The club which is often derided for its lack of history just made a pretty huge piece of it.
