Samsung‘s next big thing, the Galaxy S23 series, is already in the works and is expected to launch in the first half of 2023. One source indicated that the phones would be on sale in January, while the most recent leak we have pointed to a February launch.

Galaxy S23 Series processor details

If the rumours are accurate, the Galaxy S23 will be released next year with identical features for every country, including the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

This is undoubtedly welcome news because, if you’ve had an opportunity to use the Galaxy S22 with Exynos, you know that it felt very different—and not in a good way—than the other type.

The Lava Blaze 5G was on display by Lava Mobiles during the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2022 last month. Even though the device’s complete characteristics are already available, the manufacturer has not disclosed its cost. In a recent report, it was stated that the Blaze 5G would go on sale on November 3, but that did not happen. The corporation may announce its price on November 7 according to a recent tweet from the brand.

Nothing else about the Blaze 5G is mentioned in the official teaser. The smartphone is expected to launch as the most affordable 5G phone, which suggests that its pricing might be between Rs 10,000 (about $121) and Rs 13,000 (about $157).

It appears that the phone will be available in blue and green based on the official images. Through Amazon India, the gadget will be available for purchase.

A 6.5-inch LCD screen with a teardrop notch is available on the Lava Blaze 5G. It provides a 20:9 aspect ratio, 720 x 1600 HD+ resolution, and up to 90Hz refresh rate. The phone is anticipated to provide an almost stock Android 12 OS experience.

The Dimensity 700 chipset is found inside the Blaze 5G. a total of 4 GB of RAM and 3 GB of virtual RAM. It will have a microSD card slot, which will allow for more storage.

The battery capacity for the gadget is 5,000mAh. Regarding the device’s ability to charge quickly, there is no information available.

As per the sources, we came to know that to ease employee resentment by COVID restrictions and keep workers at the massive iPhone manufacturing facility, Apple supplier Foxconn said that it has increased bonuses on offer for employees at its Zhengzhou plant in central China.

According to the official WeChat account of Foxconn’s Zhengzhou plant, daily bonuses for workers who are a member of a Foxconn unit responsible for producing electronics including smartphones at the site have increased to 400 yuan ($55) from 100 yuan for November.

Foxconn Increases Bonus by Four Times

Foxconn, formerly known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co Ltd, manufactures 70% of all iPhone shipments globally. The majority of the company’s phones are made in the Zhengzhou factory, where it employs about 200,000 people while having additional minor production facilities in south China and India.

The Zhengzhou plant has been jolted by dissatisfaction with the stringent measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. Over the weekend, some staff left the workplace after ranting on social media about their treatment and accommodations. Foxconn was compelled to follow government orders that put employees in “miserable conditions,” according to a source.

The source added that they declined to be named since they were not authorized to speak to the media because originally there wasn’t enough to eat or drink. Since then, vital supplies have been delivered to the Foxconn campus after the scarcity caused concern.

According to a Foxconn manager who is in charge of more than 1,000 employees, the facility had trouble isolating the infected due to capacity issues. The unnamed manager claimed that panic also grew among employees as a result of social media rumors and beliefs that if they contracted the virus, they faced a danger of illness.

As per the sources, a senior anonymous Foxconn official was cited in an article by the government-backed Henan Daily that first described the rewards system. Although the executive informed the publication there had been no severe illnesses and the business had set up a team to move afflicted individuals to quarantine, Foxconn has not revealed if any employees at the Zhengzhou location had been diagnosed with COVID-19.

When contacted for comment regarding the Henan Daily article, Foxconn did not react right away. The Henan Daily is the province of Henan’s official newspaper, and Zhengzhou serves as its capital.

The sources also claimed that it was unable to immediately get in touch with the Zhengzhou administration by phone or fax for comment. The city announced that teams from the government had been sent early to the plant to assist in risk assessments and situation management.

About the 15,000-yuan Bonus

According to the sources, it states that due to the circumstances, the plant’s ability to produce iPhones in November may decline by as much as 30%, however, Foxconn was attempting to increase output at a different factory in Shenzhen to make up for the loss. On November 1st, Foxconn’s shares (2317.TW) ended 1% lower than the larger index’s 0.4% gain (.TWII).

Foxconn’s notice also claimed that to “gradually resume orderly production” and “thank our fellow employees’ persistence,” individuals who work for more than 25 days in a month may be eligible for a maximum bonus of 5,000 yuan. Previously, the maximum incentive was 1,500 yuan.

The notification further stated that individuals who put up their “full effort” in November, including forgoing any leave, may receive a cumulative bonus of more than 15,000 yuan for the month. Foxconn employees make between 3,000 and 4,000 yuan per month on average.

Despite the bonuses offered, a worker said she had decided to leave since the situation they were in was “horrendous.” She stated that several of her coworkers were persuaded to stay because of the additional pay.

China’s zero approaches towards COVID-19 require localities to act swiftly to curb outbreaks with measures including lockdowns, but it allows factories in affected areas to stay open on condition they operate under a “closed loop” system where staff live and work on-site.

However, businesses have complained about the difficulties of the system and the staff toll. The senior executive cited by the Henan Daily said Foxconn started carrying out daily COVID testing for its staff at the site on Oct. 10, and three days later implemented the closed-loop system by moving staff living off-site into its dormitories.

This week, Samsung recently debuted a new commercial that appears to make fun of Apple for not yet having a foldable iPhone. The new commercial, “On the Fence,” pokes fun at Apple in what seems to be a shop setting.

When we look at the advertisement, a man is seated on a fence that watches over this Apple Store. When he approaches, a phony Apple employee asks, “Hey, what are you doing up there? Being on the fence is not an option. The hesitant man replies, “But on the Samsung side, they have folding phones with spectacular cameras.” F

A second person who looks to be an Apple client then expresses interest in the foldable devices as the staff member tries to persuade the first to go.

The worker also says, “We’re waiting for all that to come over here,” but the client asks, “Why? It has already arrived there. The fictitious Apple employee then finally responds, “Because that’s what we do. As we wait.

This isn’t the first time the South Korean technology behemoth has made fun of the Cupertino-based company. When the iPhone manufacturer releases a new model or adds a function that Samsung already has, it makes fun of them.

These taunts, however, have increased recently, with the most recent ones focusing on Apple’s delay in releasing a foldable tablet.

Samsung first introduced foldable phones in September 2022 with the release of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 while making fun of the iPhone’s lack of innovation in its first-to-foldable campaign. Although AMD’s Ryzen 7000 processors significantly improve upon the previous-generation models, they are significantly more expensive than Raptor Lake, giving Intel the performance and value crown in every price range. This situation is made worse by the fact that AMD’s new AM5 platform, which includes the X670 and B650 motherboards, is hampered by expensive price as a result of the company’s design choices and TDP.

Raptor Lake supports two types of memory, giving Intel consumers a less expensive value alternative while AMD skipped support for DDR4 memory in favour of spending all of its money on pricier DDR5 memory. Heartstopper (Season 2): Renewal Status 

It just takes some weeks, but Netflix has renewed Heartstopper for two more seasons! In a Tweet, the Netflix account just told, “To those who have fallen in love with Nick & Charlie, cried watching Alice Osman’s magical story brought to life, or felt represented for the first time on-screen, I am slated to announce… 

Heartstopper has been renewed for TWO MORE SEASONS!” 

This type of thing doesn’t happen, often but the hearts and minds of the critics and the subscribers had credited some tandem thanks to the show’s 100% certified fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and its 98% audience score. 

The viewing of the data for heartstopper is also backing up the increasing popularity of the drama. For the first week, the series got viewed for 14,550,000 million hours. In the second week, there was a 65% growth in viewership as it enhances 23,940,000 million hours.  The show was featured for some additional weeks only watching a 37% decline in viewing ours.

We also can see the progressing relationship in-between Tao and Elle will be revealed in detail in the second season along with the relationship between Tara and Darcy. 

It has set the graphic novel readers also aware that they can expect to see more about Mr. Ajayi who has been a great supporter of Charlie and have the potential to introduce Mr. Farouk. 

Heartstopper (Season 2): Production Status 

By following the renewal, the series has visited instantly into active development. On late June 2022, we were among the first to report that the series would be eying a September 2022 shooting start and we’ve pleased to confirm that the shooting is now underway. 

The production listings have confirmed that it will take place from 13th September to 20th December 2022 for the second season. Netflix recently declared that the Heartstopper is also a part of Netflix’s TUDUM event place on 24th September 2022.

The daily performance is quite good and fluid as I never faced any stutter even keeping multiple apps open in the background but yes it is not as powerful compared to the Apple Watches.

Still, for most users, the performance won’t be an issue and in terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Watch4 is spot on with its Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. Well, you can get the cellular variant but it is not worth the extra money you would pay because of the extra battery life drain, and Bluetooth calling is soo good that I kept on making calls from the watch itself with confidence.

The mic, speaker, and everything on this smartwatch is so polished that it kind of makes sense to go for it anyways. Lastly, storing songs on this watch, connecting to headphones directly, and playing them directly from your smartwatch is really easy as well as seamless. Overall, in this regard, with timely updates & improvements, the Galaxy Watch4 in 2022 is still a good choice.

The only problem – Battery Life & Charging

The biggest problem I would say that I faced with this Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is the poor battery life when used fully because as this is an advanced smartwatch it ends up drawing more power than usual. Much like the Apple Watch, this Galaxy Watch4 lasts about a day in typical usage with an Always-On display on and full usage.

With power saving mode you can stretch this to one and a half days, now again here comes the charging issue, having wireless charging support only takes around 2 hours to charge. This is very painful if you are traveling or have less time in your hands to charge and this is the biggest con of this smartwatch.

Now, should you buy this Samsung Galaxy Watch4 for ₹9,999? Yes, absolutely because I feel this is quite a comfortable pricing to pay for a premium smartwatch in 2022 for its wide range of features, UI & software, and performance overall. Obviously, it has its battery issues, well, Apple Watch also has but still, people are buying and adapting to charge every day, yes, Samsung should work in the future.
