As a result of an agreement between Samsung and Qualcomm, the forthcoming Galaxy S23 series will only employ a chipset known as the “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy.”

That is a mouthful, to say the least. Don’t worry; Samsung has a more succinct way of reminding people about the unique processor that powers its latest flagships.

AU Small Finance Bank has unveiled a new facility similar to mobile number portability for credit card users.  For android users it’s very easy to change their service provider while retaining the same number, AU Bank has dropped a facility that will permit the users of any credit card to get an upgraded AU Bank credit card instantly. 

Recently, AU Small Finance Bank declared the launch of a first-of-its-kind ‘SwipeUp’ platform that may allow the credit cardholders of any bank to get an upgraded card instantly. In a statement, AU Bank told that the SwipeUp platform will permit other bank credit cardholders to compare existing credit cards within 2-3 seconds.  In this, they can upgrade to a new card with an enhanced credit limit, cashback, and reward points matching their lifestyles within minutes.

The bank confirmed that the credit cards have been in circulation for more than two decades and progressing with a healthy growth rate year-on-year. However, most customers continue to use the same features and offer for many years despite the continuous change in their income and lifestyle. Their credit card continues to be according to their lifestyle at the time of submitting the credit card application.  

There are several banks offering to boost the credit limit, but features and benefits tend to remain unchanged. Customers can continue to use credit card features for not matching their current lifestyle. AU Bank has confirmed this customer requirement and decided to fulfil this gap with the SwipeUp platform, the statement said.

These cards will have a higher credit limit, higher cashback, better reward points, zero membership fees, and various other features that are an upgrade from their existing credit card. 

The Credit Cards issued in the SwipeUp platform are different from the current credit cards offered by AU Small Finance Bank. While the new range of cards will offer a high-value proposition to customers, the card is made from biodegradable plastic to contribute towards a better environment.

One of the hottest new titles simply refuses to run on AMD’s venerable Polaris architecture graphics cards. Yes, we are talking about Forspoken, the PC game that has been on everyone’s lips in January 2023, has DirectX 12 feature-level 12 1 API requirements that the stoic Radeon RX 400 and RX 500 series graphics cards can’t meet.

Redditor xCurio pointed out that the ageing AMD Polaris graphics cards are finally too old to party like they used to. They compared Polaris’ inability to run the latest PC game, Forspoken, to the use of even older GeForce GTX 960 or GTX 970 cards.

According to the published minimum system requirements for Forspoken, gamers are expected to use a system with at least an AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB graphics card or an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. These are graphics cards based on the RDNA 1 and Pascal architectures, respectively.

Despite the clear minimum recommendation for an RDNA 1 or better GPU, the older Polaris (RX 500 & RX 400) GPUs are unable to run Forspoken at all

AMD recently released a new Adrenalin graphics driver with optimizations ready to support Forspoken, but this driver is only for use with Radeon RX 7000 (RDNA 3) graphics cards. Surprisingly, the red team hasn’t released any driver updates for older Radeon RX series GPUs since December 8, whereas the RX 7000 series has received four updates since then.

So, if you have a Vega, RDNA 1 or RDNA 2 architecture graphics card, let’s hope that Forspoken will not be a frustrating experience due to technical difficulties. We’re also hoping that AMD has a new Adrenalin graphics driver ready or nearly ready for pre-RDNA 3 architecture graphics card owners.

At Samsung Unpacked on February 1, Samsung is prepared to introduce its flagship, the Galaxy S23 series. At the ceremony, the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra will be unveiled. Samsung is certain to release the Galaxy Book 3 series in India along with its high-end smartphones.

Galaxy S23 Series details

The Samsung Galaxy S23’s base pricing in India will be Rs 79,999, while its most expensive edition will cost Rs 83,999, according to the information. Priced at Rs 89,999 for the base model, the Galaxy S23 Plus is the middle brother. Starting price for the most expensive Galaxy S23 Ultra in India is Rs. 1,14,999.

Galaxy S23 Series

According to a recent source, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to provide various storage options. The Galaxy S23 is expected to be available in two configurations: 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. The 8GB+256GB and 8GB+256GB models of the Galaxy S23 Plus will both be available. A 1TB storage option with 12GB of RAM is anticipated for the top-tier Galaxy S23 Ultra. 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB are the S23 Ultra’s other two configurations.

Phantom Black, Botanic Green, Cotton Flower, and Misty Lilac are the four colours that the Galaxy S23 series will be available in at launch.

The Galaxy S23 5G will feature a 6.1-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a 3900mAh battery and 25W rapid charging capability.

A new 200MP primary camera and a quad-camera configuration on the rear will be available on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. There will also be two 10MP telephoto sensors and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with it. In order to capture 3x and 10x optical zoom, respectively, the two 10MP sensors will be used. A 5000mAh battery and 45W rapid charging are also included in the phone.

Manchester United have received as many as ten proposals to take Anthony Elanga on loan. Among the clubs interested in signing the youngster are Borussia Dortmund and PSV Eindhoven. 

However, no decision has been made as of yet about where he will be playing for the remainder of the season. The club will make their call within the coming 48 hours about whether they will let him go and get more playing time or stay with the first team.

Tete joins Leicester City on loan until the end of 22/23

Leicester City have confirmed the signing of their first Brazilian player, Tete, from Shakhtar Donetsk. The winger has been signed on a loan deal until the end of the season, and he is expected to return to the Ukrainian club in July. 

He will be wearing the number 37 shirt as confirmed by the official website of the club. He previously spent time with Ligue 1 club Lyon, and now moves to the Premier League for a new challenge under Brendan Rodgers. 

Tete signs for Leicester City on loan 

“I’m really happy to be here. I’ve had a look at the pitch and the stadium, it’s beautiful and I can already imagine what it’ll be like with a lot of fans. I hope to score a lot of goals and assists. The 22-year-old has represented Brazil at several youth levels, and played 19 times for Lyon in 22/23. He produced a good return of six goals and three assists, and will be hoping to bring his form over to Leicester, who need a boost in attack. 

After emerging as contenders for Europe in the last few seasons, Leicester City have suffered quite a bit this year. They are currently 14th in the table and are only a point from the relegation zone. 

Tete is the second signing for the Foxes after the arrival of Danish left-back Victor Kristiansen. And it now remains to be seen whether the pair can help them improve their performances in the second half of the season.
