The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be launched in 2025, and its potential price in the US has been speculated. Since it is getting a new design and features such as Face ID and an OLED panel, the cost may start higher than the USA iPhone SE 3 price. Here are the developments and pricing details:
iPhone SE 4 Expected US Pricing
As per X.com tipster @Revegnus1, the iPhone SE 4 price in the US will either remain the same or increase by ten percent, but it will be below $499. For comparison, the SE 3rd Gen, which was released in the United States in 2022, started at $429 for the entry-level 64GB. This variant was sold for $479; only the 256GB model of the phone crossed the $500 barrier and was sold for $579. These several plausible upgrades make the potential increase in price for an iPhone SE 4 such as:
iPhone SE 4: What’s New
Design: The iPhone SE 4 might feature a design similar to the iPhone 14.
Authentication: Face ID could replace Touch ID.
Display: An OLED screen might replace the current LCD, using legacy components to keep costs down.
Screen Size: The display could increase from 4.7 inches to 6.1 inches.
Port: The Lightning port might be replaced by a USB-C port.
Action Button: The new SE could include the multifunctional Action Button from the iPhone 15 lineup.
Apple might keep the price of the iPhone SE 4 relatively low by recycling numerous components from earlier iPhones. According to a report, the device is set to be the “budget” gadget in Apple’s 2025 line. Additionally, it is anticipated that Apple will reveal the SE 4 in spring. According to reports, display producers have been vying to supply the screens since last August. @Revegnus1 has also published a roadmap for possible forthcoming Apple products that could possibly be quite intriguing.

In 2024, the semiconductor fight between Samsung and TSMC is boiling, as both firms have perfected their production processes, awaiting their major leaps.
Samsung’s Exynos Chipsets
In the second half of the same year, the South-Korean tech giant is preparing to extend the use of its in-house silicon, as a new Exynos chipset is ramping up overwhelming manufacturing based on the same technology. It is an element of Samsung’s bet on its Gate-All-Around technology, which could seriously undermine the company’s rival, TSMC.
As per reports, Samsung is set to release two variants, one of which is the Exynos 2500. Galaxy S25 is expected to launch in early 2025, representing the new Samsung product that may feature Samsung’s second-generation 3nm GAA technology.
In the sense of a dual-chipset technique, it may use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, like the Galaxy S24. The Exynos 2500 may offer better energy efficiency than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, with state-of-the-art packaging techniques such as Fan-out Wafer Level Packaging that improve heat resistance and performance. Samsung generally introduces its top-end chipsets in the fourth quarter, with the Exynos 2400 expected to be introduced in October 2023.
TSMC’s Strategic Moves
TSMC is still the most powerful semiconductor manufacturer, led by Apple’s massive growth. Jeff Williams, Apple’s COO, recently visited Taiwan to buy TSMC’s 2nm wafers at the start of production, and the iPhone maker previously collaborated with Apple on the A17 Pro chip for the iPhone 15 Pro line using TSMC’s 3nm start of 2024. The most recent M4 processor used by iPad Pro models is also based on TSMC’s second-gen 3nm process.
According to reports, Apple may become TSMC’s single biggest consumer of 2nm technology and deploy it for the iPhone 17 lineup. However, the first 2nm silicon is rumored not to be available until the end of 2026, according to some sources. TSMC would profit significantly if they could secure the 2nm wafers, despite the fact that they are more expensive to make than 3nm tech.
Conclusion
In 2024, a fierce rivalry between Samsung and TSMC will be at the center of the semiconductor business. Samsung will attempt to elevate its Exynos to the forefront of the sector, while TSMC clings to its lead thanks to crucial collaborations and top-of-the-line tech.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are gearing up to face Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in their upcoming IPL 2024 match. The two teams will clash in Qualifier 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, May 21.
KKR vs SRH. Image Credits – KKR Twitter
KKR was the first team to secure a spot in the playoffs and will be aiming for another victory to secure a place in the finals this season.
Meanwhile, SRH secured their playoff spot as the third team to qualify.
Ahmedabad has been experiencing extreme temperatures, with the mercury soaring above 45 degrees Celsius. Surprisingly, this might not be bad news for the IPL. Recent matches have been disrupted by rain, so the current trend of scorching heat is likely welcomed by those involved with the tournament. Ironically, this intense heat could be a relief for the two remaining teams at the venue.
The weather forecast for both Tuesday and Wednesday, when Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator will be played, predicts more of the same sweltering conditions, ensuring the matches proceed without interruption. According to the local Meteorological Department, the weather will be “hot with plenty of sun”—a massive understatement. The heat has been both infernal and searing. However, the Kolkata Knight Riders, who experienced two consecutive washouts, including one at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 13, might not mind the heat.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz. Image Credits – KKR Twitter
Heading into a crucial fixture, the Knight Riders, two-time champions who finished at the top of the points table for the first time in 17 seasons, are short on match practice, having last played a full 40-over game on May 5. This could be a concern for Shreyas Iyer’s side, who have pioneered a new approach to the IPL, much like their opponents, Sunrisers Hyderabad, in Qualifier 1. Both teams have redefined the game with a high-risk, no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners attitude.
This matchup will feature two bold, fearless, and in-form teams, with a slight edge towards Hyderabad, who are also aiming for their third IPL championship. Kolkata’s regular opener, Phil Salt, who formed a strong partnership with Sunil Narine, is absent due to national duties. Narine may partner with Rahmanullah Gurbaz, who has yet to play a game this season.
Two of the quickest-scoring teams in this IPL could produce another run-fest in the first qualifier in Ahmedabad, especially if a bouncy, red-soil track is on offer. Despite Phil Salt’s departure from the IPL, Kolkata Knight Riders still boast considerable power with Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Rinku Singh. On the other side, Sunrisers Hyderabad can match or even surpass that firepower with Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Heinrich Klaasen.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have also strengthened their top order with the aggressive No.3 option, Rahul Tripathi. However, the question remains: can they adjust their aggressive approach if Ahmedabad presents a slow, black-soil turner? Back in March, SRH managed only 162 for 8 on such a surface, which favored the Gujarat Titans’ spinners.
On the other hand, SRH’s aggressive opening combination of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma remains intact. While cricket, particularly in the IPL, is known for its unpredictability, the success or failure of the opening pairs could significantly influence the game’s outcome.
Regardless of the surface conditions, Narine and Varun Chakravarthy have the ability to take wickets or restrict the opposition. Yet, KKR will have to perform without much recent match practice, having experienced washouts in their last two league matches, including one in Ahmedabad.

In terms of bowling, Pat Cummins’s side has a slight edge. Hyderabad has relied heavily on its pacers—T Natarajan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Cummins himself, with Jaydev Unadkat and Marco Jansen as backup. The Narendra Modi Stadium has generally favored fast bowlers. Conversely, the Knight Riders’ strength lies in their spinners, particularly Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy.
A key advantage for Hyderabad is the resurgence of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who has regained form in the latter half of the league. Meanwhile, Kolkata’s spearhead, Mitchell Starc, has not been in top form, with 12 wickets in 11 innings. Kolkata will need Starc, the costliest buy in IPL history, to deliver a strong performance. Additionally, KKR must be mindful of the positive experiences Cummins and Head have at this venue, including their ODI World Cup win last year.

KKR vs SRH: Pitch Report & Conditions
Although it is not a do-or-die game, neither team wants to face the prospect of an elimination match. The pitch is expected to favor batters, likely resulting in a high-scoring game. Captains are expected to choose to field first, as has been the trend this season.
The pitch at the Narendra Modi Stadium offers a balanced challenge for both batters and fast bowlers. It provides good pace and bounce for the pacers, while also allowing batters to score freely. Notably, in the last five games at this venue, teams that have chosen to chase have won each time. Therefore, the team winning the toss is likely to opt to field first.
The type of soil—red or black—could significantly impact team composition. Although the previous game in Ahmedabad was a washout, the weather is expected to be clear for Tuesday’s match.
In their previous encounter, Head didn’t even play, as Sunrisers Hyderabad opted for Marco Jansen instead. The match saw Harshit Rana’s heroics in the last over, where he halted Heinrich Klaasen and the SRH side, securing a four-run victory for Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. Earlier in the season, KKR had struggled with chasing targets, but they have addressed this issue heading into the playoffs.
KKR vs SRH: Team News and Impact Player Strategy
Kolkata Knight Riders
All players, except Phil Salt, are available for selection. Nitish Rana, who has regained fitness, presents himself as a viable Impact Player option, having demonstrated his capabilities with a quickfire 33 off 23 balls against Mumbai Indians in Kolkata. KKR may face a decision between left-arm fingerspinner Anukul Roy and right-arm seamer Vaibhav Arora.
Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have proven to be effective against Sunil Narine, suggesting that the veteran spinner could be strategically deployed in the middle and late overs to counter Heinrich Klaasen, who holds a favorable matchup against the other KKR spinner, Varun Chakravarthy. Don’t be surprised if Andre Russell targets Abhishek Sharma early in the game. Russell has dismissed Abhishek twice in just 10 balls and has conceded only 11 runs in those encounters.
Predicted XII:
Sunil Narine
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (wk)
Shreyas Iyer (capt)
Venkatesh Iyer
Nitish Rana
Rinku Singh
Andre Russell
Ramandeep Singh
Mitchell Starc
Anukul Roy/Vaibhav Arora
Harshit Rana
Varun Chakravarthy
Sunrisers Hyderabad
SRH has a clean slate in terms of injuries and player availability. They have maintained consistency in their Impact Player strategy, typically slotting in one of their batters for T Natarajan. Vijayakanth Viyaskanth, the young leg-spinner from Jaffna, has performed well in his two IPL appearances and is likely to retain his place unless SRH opts to bring back Aiden Markram for his steady batting and off-spin against a potentially left-hand-heavy KKR middle order. Jaydev Unadkat, known for his change-ups, is another viable option.
Andre Russell has not had a high-scoring rate in Ahmedabad, striking at just under 140 in four innings at the venue. SRH bowlers will aim to force him to hit towards the long square boundaries.
Predicted XII:
Travis Head
Abhishek Sharma
Rahul Tripathi
Nitish Kumar Reddy
Heinrich Klaasen (wk)
Shahbaz Ahmed
Abdul Samad
Sanvir Singh
Pat Cummins (capt)
Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Vijayakanth Viyaskanth
T Natarajan
KKR vs SRH: Players Under The Spotlight
KKR- Rinku Singh
After showcasing his finishing prowess in IPL 2023, Rinku Singh has had limited opportunities to replicate his success in IPL 2024. Additionally, he did not secure a place in India’s main squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup. Despite this, Singh has faced 113 balls in 11 innings this season, boasting a healthy strike rate of 148.67. While his stats may not match up to some of the other heavy hitters in Tuesday’s game, underestimating Singh could prove costly for any opposition.
SRH- T Natarajan
T Natarajan faced a challenging outing against Ayush Badoni but bounced back impressively against Punjab Kings, securing figures of 2 for 33 in his four overs in a high-scoring game. His bowling repertoire has evolved beyond just the yorker, with the addition of a deceptive slower bouncer to trouble batters during the middle and death overs. However, Natarajan will need to tread carefully against Andre Russell, who has scored 43 runs off 26 balls against him in the IPL, with just one dismissal, at a strike rate of 165.38.

Today, HP Inc. announced a major rebranding initiative aimed at streamlining its consumer and commercial PC portfolios. This transformation focuses on simplifying product naming conventions while reflecting HP’s dedication to innovation, customer-centricity, and the evolving needs of modern users.
HP Unveils Branding Transformation for Consumer and Commercial PCs
Introducing OmniBook: A New Era for Consumer PCs
Under this new strategy, HP’s consumer PC portfolio will be unified under the prefix “Omni,” followed by a signifier indicating the product category. Here’s how it breaks down:
Laptops: OmniBook

Traditional Desktops: OmniDesk
Gaming PCs will continue under the well-known OMEN brand. The prefix “Omni” draws inspiration from HP’s rich history, symbolizing universality and the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge solutions for today’s hybrid world.
Revamping the Commercial Portfolio: HP EliteBook & ProBook
HP is also evolving its iconic commercial PC brands, HP EliteBook and ProBook. The new naming conventions are designed to maintain brand equity while creating a more cohesive and consistent portfolio.
Communicating Performance with Modifier Structure
To simplify product communication further, each device will now feature a number ranging from 2 to 10 (with 10 represented by “X”).

This initiative sets new standards in technological innovation, ensuring that HP remains at the forefront of the evolving PC market.
The world of gaming is abuzz with speculation about the next generation of consoles – the PlayStation 6 and Xbox Next. While gamers naturally crave the latest and greatest, a recent industry discussion sheds light on a surprising aspect: RAM capacity might not see a dramatic increase.
This deviates from the traditional path of console upgrades, where each generation boasts double the RAM of its predecessor. So, what’s the reasoning behind this shift?
The Rise of Storage and Software Solutions
Industry experts like Richard Leadbetter of Digital Foundry believe that doubling the RAM from the current standard of 16GB (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X) might not be the most effective approach. The culprit? Cost. Memory prices haven’t dropped significantly, making a significant RAM jump economically unviable.
Here’s where things get interesting. The current generation consoles already showcase a significant leap in storage and software-based solutions. These advancements are expected to continue carrying the load in the next-gen as well.
Think of it this way: instead of brute force with RAM, developers are finding clever ways to manage data with faster storage and innovative software techniques. This allows for smoother game play and stunning visuals without necessarily requiring a massive RAM upgrade.
A More Holistic Approach to Console Design: PlayStation 5 Pro
The concept of a holistic design philosophy is gaining traction. A prime example is the rumored PlayStation 5 Pro. While it might not boast double the GPU performance of the base model, it’s expected to bridge the gap through software-based solutions like the PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution upscaler.
This signifies a shift towards a more balanced approach, where raw power isn’t the sole focus. Optimizing existing hardware with smart software solutions becomes key.
The RAM Sweet Spot: Finding the Right Balance
There’s a limit to how much RAM is truly necessary. Industry figures like Alexander Battaglia point out limitations in game development itself. Filling the current 16GB RAM to the brim requires a lot of effort. Pushing beyond that might lead to static solutions – special effects that only show up once in a game, for instance.
This hints at a potential “RAM stagnation” period in the coming decade. Developers will need to determine the optimal RAM usage beyond a certain point. This might also lead to a shift in development practices, with a focus on procedural solutions that minimize RAM dependency.
The Next-Gen Horizon: A Look Ahead
Concrete details about the PlayStation 6 and Xbox Next remain scarce. Rumors suggest the Xbox Next might arrive sooner, possibly in 2026. However, one thing seems certain: the next generation of consoles might not be defined by a pure RAM race.
Instead, we can expect a focus on a more holistic approach, where advancements in storage, software, and potentially even a touch more RAM create a powerful and future-proof gaming experience.
BTS member Suga is currently serving in the military, having conducted a ‘D-Day’ concert before enlisting.

After his enlistment, BigHit Music released the concert film, which became a massive hit worldwide.
The agency has now announced the release of ‘Agust D TOUR D-DAY The Original’, which will feature Suga’s performances, behind-the-scenes footage, and solo performances by RM, Jungkook, and Jimin.
Agust D TOUR D-DAY The Original Poster Set: A Must-Have for Suga Fans
The ‘Agust D TOUR D-DAY The Original Poster Set’ will officially release on July 15, with pre-orders available starting May 21. This set will include a poster set, poster set tube, postcard, sticker set, transport folding card, and additional items.
On the work front, Suga released his solo album “D-Day” under his other name, Agust D, and embarked on a concert tour that became a huge success. He also released his documentary “Suga: Road to D-Day,” which provided insight into his process of creating the album and discussed finding new dreams after achieving lifelong goals.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Suga revealed that the theme of “D-Day” is liberation. He explained, “In the past, I knew what that theme meant, and I figured out my thoughts were already resolved in the process of recording it. There was this K-drama called My Liberation Notes [from 2022] that did really well. I had started working on the album three years ago—and then I noticed that it really matched thematically with the drama. I felt and hoped that people were looking for more stories, more discussion on this topic of liberation.”
He added, “Once I asked myself about what my definition of liberation is, I started unpacking that idea of liberation more through my songs. I think viewers will find it very fun and entertaining, considering the other kinds of promotions I’ve done. I have confidence. In the video, I’m just living very freely.”
Suga is scheduled to return from the military in 2025, at which point he will reunite with the other BTS members.
