Bob Odenkirk is back—and he’s not taking any prisoners. “Nobody 2,” the highly anticipated sequel to the 2021 sleeper hit, is set to hit theaters on August 15, 2025. With a fresh trailer out, fans are buzzing about Odenkirk’s return as Hutch Mansell, the unassuming family man with a deadly past. This time, the stakes are higher, the action is wilder, and the family vacation is anything but relaxing.

What’s New in Nobody 2?

Directed by Timo Tjahjanto and co-written by Derek Kolstad (the mind behind the original “Nobody” and the “John Wick” franchise), “Nobody 2” picks up with Hutch Mansell trying to enjoy some “strictly family time.” But trouble finds him fast—thanks to a new villain, Lendina, played by Sharon Stone, whose goons target Hutch’s family during what should have been a peaceful getaway.

The trailer teases a blend of dark humor and brutal action. Hutch’s promise of a quiet vacation is shattered when his kids are threatened at an arcade, forcing him to unleash his lethal skills once again. As his wife Becca (Connie Nielsen) wryly observes, this chaos is just the “first day” of their trip.
