The OPPO Reno 14 series is currently in development, with the brand continuing its trend of releasing new Reno phones roughly every six months. The Reno 13 line was unveiled back in November, and now it is time to start thinking of the Reno 14 family. These features include the addition of a flat display and periscope camera, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. Now, details have also surfaced about the vanilla Reno 14, as well as the Reno 14 Pro, including the display and battery stuff.

OPPO Reno 14 Series to Feature Slim Bezels, 6,000mAh Battery, Periscope Camera, and Redesigned Back
The OPPO Reno 14 Pro will likely be measuring 6.83 inches in diagonals, while the non-Pro Reno 14 will have a smaller 6.58-inch screen. The two models feature OLED LTPS panels that are claimed to deliver 1.5K resolution. However, while these screen sizes are the same as those of the Reno 13 series, the Reno 14 phones will likely feature slimmer bezels for a sleeker look. Battery life also appears to be an area of improvement, with the Reno 14 series reportedly set to adopt silicon-based batteries, with at least 6,000mAh in capacity.
That’s an improvement versus the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro, which featured 5,600mAh and 5,800mAh batteries, respectively. On top of performance upgrades for its hardware, the camera system is also in for a big improvement, with OPPO purportedly looking to deliver iPhone-esque photography. A leaked render of the Reno 14 Pro reveals a revamped design with a square-shaped camera island on the rear. Two sensors are housed in pill-shaped cutouts, while a third lens and an LED flash are positioned alongside them.
The phone is expected to feature a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP 3.5x periscope zoom lens. It may also include a new ‘Magic Qube’ key, a physical button replacing the alert slider found on the upcoming OPPO Find X8 Ultra. While there’s no official word on the launch date, the Reno 14 series is expected to arrive soon. For reference, the Reno 13 and 13 Pro launched in India at ₹37,999 and ₹49,999, respectively.
