OPPO Find X9 Ultra Has a 460mm Camera Range and 8K Video — This Is What a True Flagship Looks Like in 2026

OPPO India just raised the bar for premium smartphones in the country. The Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra have officially landed in India, bringing with them a camera system that is genuinely unlike anything else at this price point, a massive silicon-carbon battery, and an AI-powered software experience built for how people actually use their phones.

Both phones go on sale from May 28 via OPPO e-Store, Flipkart, Amazon, and mainline retail. And with effective pricing starting at ₹62,199 after offers, the Find X9s enters the premium segment with serious competitive intent.

Hasselblad — the legendary Swedish camera brand whose collaboration with OPPO powers the imaging system on both devices — has long been considered the gold standard in professional photography. Having that expertise baked into a smartphone is something money can’t easily replicate.

Find X9 Ultra: The Camera Beast

The Find X9 Ultra is built around OPPO’s new-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System — and the specifications are genuinely staggering. The setup includes a 200MP main camera, a 200MP 3× telephoto, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP 10× optical zoom telephoto using OPPO’s proprietary Quintuple Prism Periscope Structure, and a True Color Camera. Combined, the system delivers a focal range of 14mm to 460mm — that’s wider than most professional zoom lenses.

For video, this is the first OPPO flagship to support 8K recording at 30fps, alongside 4K at 60fps, 120fps Dolby Vision HDR, and professional tools including O-Log2, ACES colour science, and 3D LUT support with real-time preview.

The 6.82-inch QHD+ ProXDR AMOLED display hits 3,600 nits peak brightness with 144Hz adaptive refresh. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (3nm) keeps everything moving, backed by a 7,050mAh silicon-carbon battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

Find X9s: Flagship DNA, Slimmer Package

The Find X9s distils the same Hasselblad-co-developed imaging into a sleeker 7.99mm, 202g body. Its 50MP triple-camera system — main, ultra-wide, and 3× periscope telephoto — supports 120× Super Zoom. The 6.59-inch flat AMOLED with 1.15mm symmetrical bezels and 3,840Hz PWM dimming is one of the most comfortable displays for extended use currently available.

Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s (3nm) with a 7,025mAh battery and 80W SUPERVOOC charging, the Find X9s is built for all-day heavy use without anxiety.

Both phones carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications plus Swiss SGS five-star drop resistance — a durability combination that covers submersion, high-pressure water jets, and impact in one package.

ColorOS 16 and the AI Layer

Both devices run ColorOS 16, which introduces AI Mind Pilot — an assistant that coordinates Google Gemini, Perplexity, and OpenAI models for contextual help. AI Menu Translation decodes foreign menus while travelling, AI Bill Manager organises receipts automatically, and the dedicated Snap Key enables instant information capture via AI Mind Space.

Users also get 3 months of complimentary Google AI Pro with 5TB storage, plus Jio benefits worth ₹35,100 with qualifying plans.

The new OPPO Enco Air5 Pro earbuds (₹4,999) accompany the launch with 55dB ANC, 54-hour total playback, and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification.
