OPPO Find X9 Ultra Going Global in April 2026 — First Ever

OPPO just dropped a bombshell. The Find X9 Ultra — previously a China-only device — is going global for the very first time, with an April 2026 debut confirmed by OnePlus founder and OPPO CPO Pete Lau himself.

A Historic First for OPPO

This is genuinely big news. OPPO’s CPO Pete Lau confirmed on X that this marks the “first time ever” an Ultra model has launched globally — and the teaser image already has camera enthusiasts buzzing. The tagline? “Your Next Camera.” The silver colorway and a visible physical camera button are all we’ve seen so far, but the promise is loud and clear.

Camera Firepower Is the Whole Point

The Find X9 Pro — its sibling — already set a high bar with a 200MP telephoto and a detachable teleconverter lens for 10x native zoom. The Ultra is expected to push even further. Leaked specs point to a 6.8-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 144Hz, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a 7,050mAh battery with 100W wired charging — serious numbers for a phone billing itself as a camera replacement.

What to Expect on Pricing

The Find X9 debuted at around $1,165 and the X9 Pro at roughly $1,515, so the Ultra will likely land above both — making it a premium pick targeting Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Ultra territory. India pricing will depend on local market adjustments, but expect it to sit in the ₹1,00,000+ bracket.
