What Is the Story?

In Season 3, the Straw Hats sail for Alabasta — a desert kingdom rich in culture and breathtaking architecture that is on the brink of civil war. A rebellion threatens to tear the nation apart, secretly fuelled by one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, the ruthless Sir Crocodile, and his underground syndicate Baroque Works. Luffy and his crew race to help Princess Vivi save her embattled homeland.

For fans of the One Piece manga, the Alabasta arc is considered the series’ emotional backbone — the story that turned casual readers into lifelong nakama.

Returning Cast + Exciting New Faces

The new cast members include Cole Escola as Bon Clay, Awdo Awdo as Mr. 1, Daisy Head as Miss Doublefinger, and Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace.

They are joined by returning Season 2 cast members Charithra Chandran as Princess Vivi, Mikaela Hoover as Tony Tony Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as King Nefertari Cobra. All five core Straw Hats — Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar — also return.

A Franchise That Just Keeps Growing

Hitting Netflix on September 29, 2026 is a brand-new two-part animated special titled LEGO One Piece, serving as a fun, blocky recap of Seasons 1 and 2 told through Usopp’s wildly exaggerated narration — designed as a family-friendly holdover before Season 3 arrives. Additionally, Netflix is the streaming home for a brand-new anime remake The One Piece, with February 2027 set as the date window. What’s on Netflix
