Here’s your complete breakdown of the biggest new arrivals and what’s worth your time this weekend.

Netflix New Releases — Week of March 13, 2026 At a Glance

The Must-Watch New Arrivals This Week

ONE PIECE Season 2 — Netflix Original

The Straw Hats are back and sailing into the Grand Line, and the pressure to deliver was enormous after Season 1’s record-breaking debut. Based on Eiichiro Oda’s iconic manga, the live-action adaptation returns with a bigger cast, higher stakes, and a noticeably expanded world. Iñaki Godoy leads the returning crew alongside Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar. While it debuted at No. 8 in the US top 10 charts this week — perhaps surprising given the franchise’s fanbase — global viewing figures are expected to reveal the full picture when they drop Tuesday.

Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale (2025)

The Crawley family is back for what is being billed as their definitive farewell. Directed by Simon Curtis, the film arrives on Netflix via the new Universal output deal, bringing Hugh Bonneville, Michelle Dockery, Maggie Smith, and Elizabeth McGovern back to Highclere Castle one final time. Set against the looming financial devastation of the Wall Street Crash, Mary finds herself at the centre of a public scandal while the future of the entire estate hangs in the balance. Lavish, witty, and emotionally satisfying — a fitting curtain call for one of television’s most beloved dramas.

That Night — Netflix Original Limited Series

Created by Jason George (Narcos, Into the Night), this Spanish-language thriller is a masterclass in slow-burn psychological tension. Each episode is told from a different character’s perspective as a young single mother becomes implicated in a murder during an island getaway — and her sisters’ desperate attempts to help only make things dramatically worse. Critics have praised it as a grounded, quietly moving character study that transcends its thriller premise.

Dynasty: The Murdochs — Netflix Original Docu-Series

One of the most anticipated documentary series of the month, this deep dive into the Murdoch media empire arrives at a fascinating cultural moment. Expect intimate access, sharp editorial framing, and the kind of power-family drama that makes for utterly compulsive viewing.

Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere — Netflix Original

Britain’s most disarmingly curious documentarian turns his lens on the online world of male influencers, incel communities, and anti-feminist content creators. Theroux’s signature approach — empathetic, probing, and deeply unnerving — makes this one of the most thought-provoking additions to Netflix this week.

Virgin River Season 7

The small-town romance drama returns for a seventh season with Mel and Jack navigating new challenges in their Pacific Northwest haven. Reliable comfort viewing with devoted fans, it debuted at No. 14 in the US charts this week — steady, if not explosive.

Beastars Season 3 – Part 2

The acclaimed Japanese anime — set in a world of anthropomorphic animals — reaches its climactic conclusion. This final batch of episodes resolves the series’ central tensions between predator and prey, carnivore and herbivore, in dramatic fashion. Essential viewing for anime fans who’ve been following Legoshi’s journey from the beginning.
