“Oh! My Guard”: When a Lost Hoodie Turns Jung Yong Hwa’s Biggest Fan into His Prime Suspect

Picture meeting your all-time favorite star, and the first thing he does is accuse you of stealing from him. That’s the hilarious misunderstanding at the heart of “Oh! My Guard,” and the freshly released stills have fans already smiling.

The Hoodie That Started It All

In the stills, Oh Hae Ra stands with her hood pulled so tight her face is barely visible. Uhm Tae Bong grips the hem of her clothing as if he won’t let her leave.

The cause is a limited-edition hoodie he lost, and he now spots it on a stranger. He quickly concludes she’s both a thief and a stalker. For her, this is the joyful moment of meeting the star she has only ever watched on TV, and it turns to confusion in seconds.

Why This Rom-Com Has Our Attention?

The production team describes the scene as funny because the two see the same situation in completely different ways. They also promise lively banter and strong chemistry as the pair get off to a rocky start.

An actor who avoids kisses and a fan who thinks she’s his drama’s heroine make an irresistible setup. Fans of Jung Yong Hwa can look forward to his comedic side, and you can catch him in “Sell Your Haunted House” on Viki while you wait.
