A new month brings a new scoreboard for K-pop’s newest faces. The Korean Business Research Institute has released its October rookie idol group brand reputation rankings, and the results show one clear leader and one big breakout. RESCENE held the top spot, while izna rocketed into the top three.
How the Rankings Work?
The institute analysed consumer participation, media coverage, interaction and community awareness, using big data collected from September 1 to October 1. The result is a brand reputation index, which reflects how much attention, conversation and goodwill each group generated during the month.

RESCENE Keeps Its Crown
RESCENE stayed at No. 1 with a score of 8,057,217, which is more than three times CORTIS’s total. Their keyword analysis featured their hit song, as well as words like “trot” and “college festival,” hinting at the buzz from festival appearances. Related terms such as “surpass,” “sold out” and “root for” show fans are cheering them on. Their positivity analysis found 94.97% positive reactions, a very strong figure for any group.
CORTIS Holds Second, izna Makes a Leap
CORTIS kept the runner-up spot, with their score rising 2.96% from last month. The real headline, though, is izna. A jump of 492.05% in the index pushed them to third place, a sign that something drew a surge of attention to the group this month. The source does not explain the cause, so it is best not to guess. Hearts2Hearts took fourth and KiiiKiii finished just behind in fifth.
