What Makes Open-Ear Different?

Unlike in-ear buds that seal the ear canal, open-ear designs sit near or around the ear. The Master Buds Open use an ergonomic C-bridge design that lets the ear canals “breathe” while you stay aware of traffic, announcements or colleagues. That makes them a safer choice for outdoor walks and cycling, and more comfortable for long hours, though they will not block background noise the way noise-cancelling earbuds do.

Sound by Bose Technology

The earbuds use a 10.8mm custom dynamic driver with “Sound by Bose Technology”, along with Dynamic EQ and six presets. The branding suggests a tuning partnership rather than a Bose-branded product, so think of it as Noise’s product with Bose-powered sound. Open-ear earbuds usually have less bass than sealed ones by nature, so how the tuning performs in real use will be the key question.

Other Features

A 4-mic ENC system with DNN processing aims to keep your voice clear on calls. Bluetooth 5.4 brings stable connections, Dual Connectivity lets you pair with two devices, and Google Fast Pair helps Android users connect quickly. With IPX4 water resistance, they should handle sweat and light rain. The Noise Audio app adds touch controls, equalizer settings, Spatial Audio and an AI Voice Assistant.

Battery life is listed as up to 28 hours in total including the charging case, and fast charging is supported. As always, the real number depends on volume and usage.

Who Should Buy?

These earbuds suit people who walk, run or commute and want to stay aware of their surroundings, as well as people who find in-ear buds uncomfortable. If you want strong isolation for a noisy train or a flight, a traditional ANC model is a better choice. At ₹7,999, the price is on the premium side for a Noise product, so reviews will matter.

A good habit with any open-ear design is to test the fit before you commit. Shake your head gently, jog on the spot and check whether the earbuds stay in place. Also compare the volume you need in a noisy street, since open designs leak a little sound and need more volume outdoors, which can drain the battery faster. If you plan to use them for long meetings, check how they handle calls in an echoing room.

What Is Not Confirmed

We have not tested the product, so sound quality, comfort and call performance are unverified. The ₹7,999 price is described as inaugural, which means it may change after the introductory period.
