Cast & Characters

What Is I Will Find You About?

Sam Worthington plays David Burroughs, a father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son — a crime he didn’t commit, yet a tragedy he punishes himself for every day. When fresh evidence suggests his son may still be alive, David is forced to break out of prison to uncover the truth.

Britt Lower plays Rachel Mills, David’s ex-sister-in-law and a former decorated reporter whose life fell apart after she was fired — and who sees this mystery as her comeback story.

It’s the kind of thriller that hooks you by episode one and doesn’t let go.

The Harlan Coben Connection

I Will Find You is adapted from Harlan Coben’s bestselling 2023 novel of the same name, with Quantum Leap creator Robert Hull serving as showrunner. Production ran from April to August 2025 in Toronto, Canada, under the codename Quartz.

The series joins a long line of acclaimed Coben-Netflix adaptations including Fool Me Once, The Stranger, Missing You, and Run Away. TV Insider
