The Big Highlights You Can’t Miss

Gabby’s Dollhouse fans should note the Season 14 premiere has shifted from August 23 to September 14, 2026. But the exciting new addition is a reality spin-off — hosted by Laila Lockhart Kranar reprising her role as Gabby — where young baker-and-maker duos compete in whimsical crafting challenges. Four holiday-themed episodes drop in 2026, with more to follow in 2027.

Then there’s Sesame Street — the iconic educational institution that’s entertained children for over five decades — which has now landed its massive library on Netflix. Over 100 episodes and specials are already available, with 20 more arriving in July 2026 alongside Sesame Street Friends: My Abby Season 2.

Netflix Playground Just Got Bigger

The Netflix Playground app — already a Top 10 most-played mobile game on Netflix for kids under 8 — is expanding with beloved titles like PAW Patrol, My Little Pony, PJ Masks, Sesame Street, and six brand-new KPop Demon Hunters minigames. Best of all? It’s included in your existing Netflix membership at no extra cost.

Real-World Fun Too

Netflix is also bringing a free, public hopscotch experience to Madison Square Park, Manhattan, as part of its “Long Live Imagination” campaign. Plus, character meet-and-greets featuring CoComelon’s JJ and Sesame Street’s Elmo are coming to Netflix House locations in Philadelphia and Dallas this summer.
