What if the perfect daughter-in-law isn’t quite human? That’s the fun premise behind Nayyi Navelli, the new fantasy entertainer starring Yami Gautam Dhar. The trailer just dropped, and it mixes laughs with a few shivers.

What the Trailer Shows?

The 3-minute trailer introduces Mohini, a picture-perfect bride who arrives at her chaotic household in Meerut. She wins everyone over quickly by cooking delicious savouries and becoming the family favourite. One person stays suspicious, though, convinced there’s more to her than meets the eye.

As the footage goes on, Mohini’s true identity comes out, adding a mysterious, supernatural layer. The trailer also teases a final showdown with an ultimate evil force. The overall mix is fantasy, humour and spooky moments.

Why It Could Work?

The trailer plays with a familiar setup: the “ideal bahu” whom everyone loves and one relative doubts. Adding a supernatural twist gives that setup a fresh spin. It also suits the festive season, since a light-hearted spooky film is an easy family outing.

From the trailer alone, the tone looks playful rather than scary. Whether the full film keeps that balance is something we’ll only know at release, so treat this as a first impression, not a verdict.
