tvN just dropped a fresh teaser for “My Bias, My Boss,” and it’s giving major fan-girl-meets-corporate-chaos energy. Adapted from a popular webtoon, this rom-com flips the “idol romance” fantasy on its head in the most unexpected workplace.
My Bias, My Boss: One Girl, Two Men, One Very Awkward Job
Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Joon) is your classic devoted fan, dreaming of working alongside her bias, idol Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min). When she lands a job at Apello — the company Lee Chan co-founded — she thinks her fangirl fantasy is finally coming true. Instead, she gets stuck dealing with the company’s skeptical CEO, Kang Ha Gi (Kang Hoon), who isn’t buying her sunshine act for a second.
| Character | Actor | Role in the Story |
|---|---|---|
| Nam Da Reum | Kim Hye Joon | Superfan-turned-new-hire at Apello |
| Kang Ha Gi | Kang Hoon | Suspicious CEO who thinks she’s a spy |
| Lee Chan | Cha Woo Min | Idol and co-founder of Apello |
Why the CEO Doesn’t Trust the New Hire
Every time Kang Ha Gi crosses paths with Nam Da Reum, chaos follows. Her over-the-top enthusiasm and constant mishaps make him suspect she’s an industrial spy rather than an eager employee. Things come to a head when he confronts her directly — and her sharp, unexpectedly mature answer hints there’s more depth to her than just fan-girl energy.
It’s a classic enemies-to-lovers setup with a k-drama twist: the “number one fan” discovering herself while accidentally winning over the one person determined to distrust her.
