“My Bias, My Boss”: When Fangirling Turns Into a Real-Life Love Triangle

K-drama fans, mark your calendars — “My Bias, My Boss” is bringing the ultimate fangirl fantasy to life, and it’s every bit as chaotic and heartwarming as it sounds.

Adapted from a popular webtoon, the story follows Nam Da Reum (Kim Hye Joon), a devoted fan who’s stanned idol Lee Chan (Cha Woo Min) for 12 years. When she lands a job at his company, Apello, she never expects to get tangled in a love triangle with the CEO himself, Kang Ha Gi (Kang Hoon). Backing her up through the chaos are her lifelong best friends Park Mi Mi (Gong Jiho) and Lee Seul Ah (Kim Ah Young) — the trio that fangirled together since their school days.

My Bias, My Boss- Cast & Characters

Why This Drama Feels So Relatable

Nam Da Reum joining Apello just to be closer to her bias is peak fan behavior — and honestly, most K-pop stans will see themselves in her. What makes the show shine, though, is the friendship angle. Park Mi Mi and Lee Seul Ah aren’t just side characters; they’re the ride-or-die friends who’ve watched Da Reum’s fan-girl journey since uniform days, and now get a front-row seat to her real-life romance drama.

The released stills show the trio growing from schoolgirls to adults, all while their bond over favorite group D.N.X stays rock solid. It’s nostalgic, funny, and sets up a story that balances romance with genuine friendship goals — a combo K-drama fans can’t resist.
