Murder Club: Faker, Changmin & Beomgyu Turn Detective in Disney+’s Wild New AI Game Show

Disney+ just teased something wildly different — and it’s called “Murder Club.” Imagine your favorite celebrities walking into a mysterious club, only to be dropped straight into an AI-generated murder mystery where everyone’s a suspect. That’s the entire premise, and it sounds like pure chaos in the best way.

Here’s the twist that makes this stand out from every other mystery variety show: AI builds the crime scenes. Each episode drops the cast into a brand-new era and setting, with an AI-crafted case so immersive it feels like the stars are actually reenacting the crime rather than just guessing along. Lying, acting, cover-ups, sharp deduction — it’s a full psychological showdown until one culprit is caught.

Who’s Joining Murder Club?

That’s a genuinely unpredictable mix — a pro gamer known for split-second decisions, two idols who know how to perform under pressure, and a chef who’s already proven he can handle high-stakes competition. Each brings a different skill to the table, whether it’s cool logic, sharp instincts, or straight-up wit, making the group dynamic one of the show’s biggest draws.

“Murder Club” premieres July 29 on Disney+, and the teaser already promises high production value paired with genuine tension. It’s a fresh spin on a genre that’s long relied on human writers alone — here, AI itself becomes part of the mystery-building process, a trend worth watching as artificial intelligence increasingly shapes entertainment formats worldwide.

With this cast and this concept, “Murder Club” could easily become the mystery variety show everyone’s talking about this summer.
