The Mirzapur gang just proved they’ve still got it. Mirzapur: The Movie, directed by Gurmmeet Singh, closed its opening weekend with a massive Rs 132 crore gross at the worldwide box office in just three days — a number that confirms the crime-drama franchise’s big-screen leap has paid off.

Starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Divyenndu, Jitendra Kumar, and Ravi Kishan, the film pulled in over Rs 108 crore net from India alone, while international markets added another Rs 24 crore (around USD 2.5 million) to the tally. Strong word-of-mouth has clearly powered its momentum, pushing the film straight into Super-Hit territory right out of the gate.

Mirzapur: The Movie- Opening Weekend Collections

Territory	Collection
India (Nett)	Rs 108.00 cr
Overseas	Rs 24.00 cr
Worldwide Total	Rs 132.00 cr

Trade watchers expect the film to hold steady through weekdays, setting up a strong opening week. Its biggest rival remains Hanuman Ansh, which continues its own dominant run despite losing some screen count this week — though the two films largely cater to different audiences and are likely to coexist comfortably at the box office. If weekday numbers stay firm, Mirzapur has a real shot at Blockbuster status.

The film builds on the massive fan base of the original Mirzapur web series, part of the broader rise of Indian web television that has reshaped how audiences consume crime dramas over the past decade.
