Mega158 — Overview

First Schedule Wrapped with “High-Energy” Portions

The makers officially took to social media to announce the completion of the first shooting schedule, stating that the team had successfully wrapped a high-energy schedule, filming important portions featuring the principal cast. They also confirmed that the next schedule is set to begin soon, with the team aiming to “set the BLOODY BENCHMARK.”

The schedule was shot in Pollachi, and the shared pictures feature Chiranjeevi alongside Anaswara Rajan and Nivetha Pethuraj, giving fans their first real glimpse of the cast dynamics.

Cast & Characters: What We Know So Far

The film is expected to be an action-packed entertainer with an emotional core, with Anaswara reportedly playing the role of Chiranjeevi’s daughter — though no official confirmation has been made yet. Reports also suggest that Coolie actress Rachita Ram is part of the project and is believed to have replaced Honey Rose, who was initially rumoured for the role.

The pairing of Chiranjeevi with Thaman S as music composer is another reason fans are already buzzing — this duo knows how to deliver massy, hummable anthems that ignite theatres. Chiranjeevi’s Packed Upcoming Lineup

Chiranjeevi was last seen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, directed by Anil Ravipudi, featuring Nayanthara as the female lead along with a cameo by Venkatesh Daggubati — now streaming on ZEE5. He has also completed work on his fantasy action entertainer Viswambhara, expected to hit screens in 2026, though an official release date is yet to be announced. Additionally, a project with The Paradise director Srikanth Odela is also in his pipeline.

The man clearly has no plans of slowing down — and Mega158 looks like it could be one of his most exciting outings yet.
